I, personally, would rent this first. I haven't actually played it, but I didn't really enjoy the first. This definitely looks like it has buy written all over it, but I would still play it safe.

i enjoyed the first one even though it did have repetitive game play, so I'm looking forward to giving this one a go, hopefully the new mission types mix it up a bit.

To clarify, the PS3 and 360 versions are LARGELY IDENTICAL. Same unlocks (On UPlay at least), same achievements (with the exception of the obvious PS3 Platinum Trophy) and same graphics and gameplay.

The whole point of Ubisoft's "UPlay" service is to have legitimate rewards for getting certain achievements besides points/trophies. It lets you unlock IN GAME stuff, and any points you don't spend are actually saved to the UP account and can be spent on unlocks on OTHER future Ubisoft games, which I think is a groundbreaking concept.

And just to let Destin know you ALSO get a dynamic theme on the PS3 version, and because of it's integration with the new PSP Assassins Creed game it actually has more unlocks than the 360 version, thus making it the definitive version.

Great VGR as always Destin. I still haven't played the first, not to say I haven't wanted to. I'm sure I'll at least give em a rental one of these days.

I didn't really like the first one, but my brother did, so he''l definitely get it. I like how they moved it to Italy, though, as the colour palette is more than just grey, brown and red.

Wait to buy it used next year.
