Hey one thing I've always wondered about it is that when people say it should've been good did they mean a platformer Mario through real-life events (e.g. Mario teams up with that guy from Assassin's Creed to stop the Crusades). or were they talking about in-universe stuff like Partners in Time?

actually when you think about it that wouldn't really be fun mario having a time machine and going back in the past maybe the future would be fun. Also mario teaming up with the assassins creed guy would awesome

Well when you think about it, it doesn't sound too fun for Mario to be going around a tropical island paradise cleaning up graffiti because some dragon brat disguised as his doppelganger vandalized the place but Super Mario Sunshine ended up just fine.

Wrecking Crew isn't actually all that bad. It's a decent puzzle game. My friend and I used to play it when we were kids. It was pretty fun. Although I still don't know why the hell Luigi is PURPLE!

It's probably a future inspiration for Nintendo to come up with Waluigi when he came around in 2000.

I don't blame you for including Mario 2.  It isn't a bad game, but Nintendo definitely cheated.  Mistake.

I've actually never heard of Mario Fundamentals.  You learn something everyday about crappy games.

Also, I've actually always heard good things about Mario Picross... so that's interesting.

When it comes to Super Mario 2 US, even I thought (and still do) it's a cool game, but I still prefer the ORIGINAL Super Mario 2, and now we all have the chance to play it on the Wii's Virtual Console. Then again, we were given the first chance when the Super Nintendo came out, along with Super Mario All-Stars.

I've also had the chance to play the Virtual Boy, and HOLY CRAP was it bad. Interestingly though, I played on one for two hours straight, and not once gotten a headache. I really have no idea how I managed to survive that long staring at nothing except red and black.

I've also never heard of Mario Teaches Typing or Mario's Fundamentals, and looking at them, I'm glad I didn't. But I do own a copy of DDR Mario Mix. Sure, it's lame, all the songs are piss easy and there are only 29 songs to dance on, but it did have one thing the other DDR games didn't: Mush Stomp Mode.

Adding to the puzzle games, two of my favourites are Dr. Mario and Tetris. So why the hell are companies constantly pumping out Sudoku games for any and all major home and handheld gaming consoles? I don't even like them, and there's like what, 100 of the ******* things? Maybe I should post a rant about it someday.

Now, I've had the unfortunate chance to play Mairo's Time Machine when I rented it from a video store years ago. At the time, I thought it was awesome. How wrong I was... looking at it now, the only thing I liked is when Mario goes surfing, which is, oddly enough, the only good part of the entire game.

Lastly, for the CD-i games, I'm still trying to figure out what's worse: The animation, the voice acting, or the gameplay. It seems like they're all doing the rock-paper-scissors concept of worst whatever crap. But it's good to see that Nintendo refuses to acknowledge its existence, and it should be kept that way.
