I know that the people on mw2 multiplayer can be annoying (and sound way too young to be playing a 18+ game(im in the UK)) but I honestly feel it has more replayability than super mario brothers wii. The campaign was only medium length but what TGO didn't say was how f***ing epic it was and then theres multiplayer. Both games are a case of classics redone but are still both the best around right now.

Just because you think the campaign is epic doesn't mean everyone has to think the campaign is epic.

HE is not a fanboy bastard, YOU are an idiot for deeming it necessary to insult people.

Besides, loving one console only doesn't mean you'd absolutely have to hate all the others, or the other people who like those consoles.

Because on Game Trailers .com they do reviews of old games. GameTrailers has a tv show on Spike. I'm sure that's how 90% of us found ScrewAttack.

A year or two ago Gametrailers had a different show name. I can't remember what its name was. It had the same host, Geoff Keighley. So if X-Play has Geoff Keighley, then yes its X-Play.

But about retro games, that's what this site is all about. Well now, its become a game news website like gametrailers and gamespot, but its now disguised itself as myspace.

I play a lot of fps's and after playing the campaign on MW2 all I could say was, "that's it? I mean it was fun sure but not epic by any point I could see, and it felt completely tacked on to me, and I have no reason to go back to play it again" So as said before yes it's opinion based, but I think everyone can agree that multiplayer was the main focus of MW2

Did you really have to crap all over modern warfare 2 just because your not good at the game? Im not saying MW2 is better i love both, i've been a fan of super mario since i was a kid.

Multiplayer isn't that hard, i can only image you suck hard.

yes but the the singleplayer seriously IS lacking... good but waaay too short. then here comes then "but you get endless amounts of hours int he multiplayer" no.. no you don't.. you could get "endless" amount of hours if you played the singleplayer over and over and over again too wouldnt you.. but you don't do that do you? and why? becous it would become tedious, repetetive and boring... EXACTLY like much of the shooter multiplayer. I do respect and understand those that can sit and play CoD games all day and shoot echother but for alot of others... once youve played one or two matches youve played them all.

I agree.  I was rather disapointed at how short the single player was in MW2.  They should have built on it more by either making some of the missions longer or putting a few more missions in.  Personaly I would have loved to see more of the war in the U.S.  The multiplayer is good but it's pretty much the same as COD 4 just with a few extra rewards and new guns.  Although I am one of those people who can spend hours killing my fellow gamers via a virtual means.  But you are right it's all pretty much the same round after round.

XD thats really funny to me. I have both games, (I hate shooters) and when I have to shoose which one to play I start with mario, and then when everyone starts getting douchey(Maybe spellcheck?) I switch to Modern Warfare 2 and we take out our frustrations untill were calm enough to return to Mario. Their both so different and so much the same that they should both be prized and played one right after the other.

I think you've completely missed the point here.  Enjoyment of a game is, as he said, subjective.  Despite the fact he doesn't particularly care for first-person shooters, he also crapped all over New Super Mario Bros. Wii, if you notice.  On the other hand, he also agreed that both games were certainly the "games of the year" for varying reasons.

Incidentally, even you have to admit that getting shot in the head and teabagged over and over by some guy named "SharkyRulz20191" while he plays "We Will Rock You" over his headset is pretty darn annoying.  ;P

heres the diffrence : in single player, if u played it before, you will know whats gonna happen and where all the enemies will pop up from, example : at the end of "No russian" you get shot in the head, first time i was like "OMGWTF!?" and when i played it though again i alredy knew it would happen. In multiplayer you never know where people could pop up or what wepon they will be using, you are also playing against people that are good, often if not always better than the NPCs, in singleplayer to my understanding the AI dosent change much you just basicly have to shoot the enemies more and be shot less, in multiplayer everything is skill based (not counting killstreaks). i understand its not for everyone but "once you've played one or two matches you've played them all" argument" is just not true.

Yeah but it's all basically the same stragities between camper to going Rambo on them or a mix inbetween so your perdiction thing may be true but limited so it's like once you "played through enough stragities you played through them all." same as FPS multiplayers has been since the first one. "Shoot or be shot"

not all true though, if u go rambo you may get a high killcount but you'll die quite alot aswell, if you want a good K/D ratio you cant just run around minlessly, still its your opinion.

Yes but with the it's all the same in modern warfare 2 multiplayer argument you can just as easily say that nsmbw is all the same because it is just jumping from platform to platform continuously. In fact you could use this argument for nearly all games. Although some may be more repetitive than others there is enough maps/levels and customization/power-ups to keep both games fresh.
