Nice! I still think that this game and Brawl are the best in the series. I hope that more games in the series will come out. Probably won't see a sequel for a long while. Great review, my friend!

Wow, I never thought I'd find another person who also thinks that Melee was the worst in the series.

I thought it was good, but not as good as the original. The controls felt too slippery and the characters were terribly unbalanced.

Very true. I didn't like how most of them were cheap when you had to go through the Event Matches. It's a good game, but not the best.

I think that Melee is WAY to overrated and the people that complained that the game should have been in Evo are annoying to me.

While I do love Melee in the begining. I did not like it over the Original. SSB was considered an unknown hit on the 64. The amount of fun I had playing that game then and now speaks for its self.

i swear thats gotta be the stupidiest thing in a game ever! :P you kinda wonder what it was like in the board room when they were thinking up idea's...

guy 1 -"Hey i got a great idea, how about lets make it so that randomly though out the game you trip!"

G2 - "won't that be stupid? and pointless?"

G1- "naw all our fans will love it, It makes it more realistic!"

...... ITS NINTENDO GUYS FIGHTING!!!!!!!!

Great Review! When I got the game at a young age I messed with the settings and now I can't get the unlockable characters. I can only get Jigglypuff. Any idea on what I can do?

Captain Falcon Finish one player in 20 minutes and beat him
Ness Finish one player mode on Normal with 3 lives and no continues at all! Defeat Ness
Luigi Finish the target tests for all of the first 8 characters.
Then fight Luigi and win!

The TV ad for this game is probably my favorite video game ad ever. & that's saying a lot, because the "Paper Mario" one was pretty funny. Shamefully, I haven't really played this one a lot. Heck, the only time I did play it was in special hotel rooms, but now that it's finally on the NA Wii VC, I'll have to get a Wii Points Card & buy it. Again, awesome review, Kwing. I, again, look forward to your next review soon.

Kirby was too powerful. Then again remember this game was made by Hal Labs, whom are the folks behind Kirby. Still this one guy I know is just plain Evil with Kirby. It was like playing an angry little devil.
