I think Kudo said in an interview in Gamespot once that he wears the sunglasses because his eyes are sensitive to bright lights. Remeber that there are always light projectors around during these interviews.

I can see some idiot in a small space, kicking the **** out of either Xbox, or TV, or just plain something else in the room. Lord help us, we thought the Wii accidents where bad when it came out, We have not seen anything yet.
