Looks interesting, but I don't like Oddworld if it's similar to that.

Off to the demo!

And if I might make a suggestion, ever heard of "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity"? By Dejobaan games (Who also made a decent Katamari ripoff), AAAAA is about base jumping, possibly the manliest extreme sport ever. It totally makes you feel like you are falling at high speeds weaving around buildings, and such. It's absolutely hilarious, too. I luuuv it.

Sorry for the double post, but it won't let me edit the first one.

Another excellent Indie game is Kodu Game Lab for XBLA. It's pretty much a super basic game creating/programming tool that lets you get straight to cool game ideas without too many details. The simplicity can be annoying when you want to do something a bit more complicated, but usually it can be worked around with some creative programming. In the end, you can get some pretty diverse results with something so simple. Only 400 MS points too.

Also, what's that song in the intro? I recognize it somehow...

Going to chime in with awesome indies:

Machinarium and AaaAh were said, and I can only hope you're saving Cave Story for something awesome.

Other than those my favorite indie games are: Runman: Race Around the World (free), Spelunky (free), and VVVVVV ($15). Oh yeah and Immortal Defense and Lugaru and Crayon Physics. And The Void.

Ok I'm done.

.....and Passage.

Aahh, now we're talkin.  Never heard of Runman, Spelunky, Immortal Defense and Lugaru, The Void or Passage.  That's plenty to add to my list.  Thanks for the suggestions!

No problem, thanks for doing these Indie Vaults! I love indie games a ton, and it's good to see them getting more publicity. Keep up the great work.

Oh, also: Flywrench and Super Meat Boy.

The game reminds me of a lot of Blizzard's sidescrolling action/puzzler, Blackthorne

...nice hat, BTW...
