I was never big on Halo. Still, kind of sad to see it go. I have no idea why. I don't even have an Xbox. But... Damn. If I did, man, this would suck.

I know why. I don't even play. It's because Halo 2 holds those who were true halo.. when their game finally got multiplayer, and hated the change that came with 3. Loved the fact they still had the game they enjoyed more

it's sad, but things have to move on, I still know halo2 loyalists.. they are furious about this, since it is the only reason they still have live and play xbox.. I thought they were stupid for that, but now.. I just feel bad for em..

"things have to move on" well, no. I think someone is going to hack xbox and make their own servers for Halo 2. I don't paly Halo or own a xbox, but this just seems so dumb and microsoft is peeing into peoples eyes.

Oh, you're saying their intelligence is directly proprtional to what games they enjoy? I could have sworn it was a complete opinion, but my bad.

Anyways, although I didn't play Halo 2, I know that some people will be sad pandas for the next few months knowing that online for one of their favorite games will be going away :[

I wanted to play Halo 2 (The PC version anyway) with a friend of mine, who still has the original Xbox up and running. It was a great game and it may still be. Bye Halo 2.

Kinda sucks to see all the old Xbox titles going, I don't personally play any but quite a few of my buddies do. And it sucks about the reviews Dante's Inferno has been getting. I actually rather enjoyed the Demo, maybe I'll rent it.

I'm betting in five to ten years they'll bring back Live functionality for their old games but only if you buy a new copy through what will be the latest incarnation of the Live Marketplace.

How is a 7.6 a bad score? That metacritic score translates into "Good solid game, a bit short of exceptional but still solid"

8 is exceptional

9 is amazing and a must buy

10 is "WHY HAVEN'T YOU BOUGHT THIS GAME!"

I'm fully enjoying every hour in White Knight Chronicles despite it's 6.2 metacritic rating given by people who do not understand this genre at all.

By all means I never stated a 7.6 was a bad score. But many new IP's these days specially from top notch developers like EA usually put out games with much more quality and usually I don't go by reviews but most if not all of them have said the exact same thing as to why the game kinda died at the end.

And if by posting critic scores is signifying that I only buy games that are rated 9's and above you are sadly mistaken. . . And same with you and WKC, I bought and played Darksiders, mainly because of the story, one of my favorite biblical stories of all time. And while it got rather decent to average game reviews I truly loved the game, gameplay and all.

Good hard news!!! I had to laugh when you said that hardcore mode requires you to drink water. That's such an oxymoron. Yes I played Fallout 3 and I know that the water gives you rads, I just thought it sounded funny.

I'm pretty upset by the scores if they are accurate. I pre ordered this game in November on Amazon and if it does suck, after all the hype I've built for myself, I will be very disappointed.
