Hey man. The question everyone is really after. Is the box cheap? Does it feel cheap? It looks great in your video.

I won't lie, at first I was really excited about the box. If you see the gamestop ad for it you'll see how detailed and shiny it looks.
I was a little disappointed to find out that the box itself is cheap plastic with only one dominant color on it.
They did keep the details and decals though.

Also, I forgot to mention in the video, but there are 3 codes on the voucher:

one for the  God of War Trilogy soundtrack and Blood And Metal EP.

one for the Challenge of Exile and Dominus skin (The best-looking add-on skin imo).

and the last one is for the Unearthing the legend documentary.

Ah! I cannot believe people pay 40 bucks more than a game is actually worth... for... boxes? and daggers? and helmets? and night vision goggles? Okay, if you are rich and LOVE the series sure, buy it, but if you just wanna be a collector and can't afford it, do not buy it! I am not saying your broke or that your rich, but really... my friend was stupid enough to get the Halo 3 helmet... why?! In the future it will be worth 400 bucks, yeah, but that's value to others... you only see dollar signs when you have a collectible item...

Anyways, I knew the box would look, feel, and act cheap(look like plastic, feel like plastic, and break like plastic).

Still, congratz! Enjoy the game!

Well... are you rich? I mean, if you have the monies for every collector's edition, this either means you eat 1 meal a day and sleep in a one room apartment or you has monies that you make from an honest living.

I really wish they had put physical CDs in the box instead of making us download them. To have those in my collection would of made the cost of the collector's edition more worth it.

Have to ask though, will the entire collection fit into that box? The PS2 titles, PS3 collection and GoW3 itself? Maybe even the PSP title?

I agree about the CD part. Although most of my music collection is digital downloads, nothing beats the quality of a good CD or Vinyl. The only downside of that CD is that to my knowledge there are no plans for a digital release for the Trilogy soundtrack. You can find II and III's score and Blood and Metal as digital downloads, but God of War's Score was an exclusive for Sony's music store which is no longer active.

As for games-in-the-box, 2 PS3 Games fit right into it, A PSP box as well, A PS2 box can fit there as well, but you'll have to squeeze it in a little.

Well that's good to know what will fit into it.

To put 2 physical soundtracks in the box would of greatly justified half of the added price of the collection. The art book another 10, and that box would be the rest of the cost.
