Haha, it would be so ironic if it turned out that way. It'd be just like the parody representation of trends that used to be in cartoons all the time!

I remember seeing this comic here on SA that kinda makes fun of the hypocrisy of the people regarding the Wii and the Move! It's really damn hilarious if you think about it!

Sigh! I may be more of a PS3 fan, but personally I do not see what the Move would offer that would separate itself from the Wii's motion controls and the same thing would apply to Project Natal! If gamers who think they are "hardcore" by playing something with a whole lot of innovation that is not Nintendo, I really do not know whether I should laugh at them or just ignore it. But even so, I might give the Move a chance, given that I have the cash to spare and maybe in about six months or so should it catch on!

I think that i would be a fun add-on to my ps3 with a motion control, and if i would want to play without a controler i just dust of my old eyetoy, cus that was realy fun *sarcasm alert*.
The "hardcore" marketing plan should be changed to: it works. Cus thats the sole reason im intrested in it. Atleast it looks like it.

That was fantastic and as a Nintendo fanboy that has doubted his beloved company for a few years, you said all the right things to restore my faith. Plus Metroid looks fantastic.

I'm not too crazy about the tag line "The next console war has started before THIS one has even ended" Its still the same console war, its pretty much a peripheral war now lol.

But anyway another great episode, you hit the nail on the head as always.

the wii is a bag of shocking ****e tho
if i have to play awkwardly designed motion control games id rather play them with decent eye candy.

i personally don't see the problem with the joypad.
it works.

id rather them bypass this whole shift into motion controlled 3d gaming malarky and focus on some serious immersion VR tech.

i can honestly see the next call of duty coming out with a motion sensor rifle controler and a body vest that electrocutes you when you get shot...... in-fact that doesn't sound half bad.
forget i complained XD

These are just steping stones for technology, after a few generations and inovations we (or should I say that generation of gamers) will have force feedback that will make you feel like you got hurt if you get hurt in the game.  This is the first time motion controles cought on, thier still young, give them time...

You know, they HAVE demoed force feedback vests at different shows before.  I think it's not the electrocution you oh so wanted (j/k), but rather a localized rumble at certain points in the vest depending where your character gets shot.  Not sure what a headshot will end up being like, but it may not actually be too far off.

Just my opinion, but they ARE making VR technology. The thing is they changed the name from virtual reality to 3-D.

Seriously 3-D is VR making a comeback, with a new name

Natal looks it can either be really good, or suck hardcore (The first one) if they mess it up. But I guess you could say the same about anything. Let's just hope the Apple Pippin 2 doesn't come out with a touch screen. Since when was that Apple's 'thing' anyway? Ah whatever.
