Ah, Nintendo Power. How I envy you guys living in America and actually being able to subscribe to this.

I remember the only copy of Nintendo Power I received was a special edition that had the first part of the Pokemon Red and Blue walkthrough and the first episode of the cartoon in a comic book style.

With the advent of the internet, it seems like these strategy guides are becoming more and more redundant. Such a shame since they always included cool images from the game.

Nintendo Power is such a great publication.

We always had the "Power Unlimited" and the "Nintendo" magazine sometimes. I really loved those magazines!

When I was in High School, I used to get the Cube magazine that was imported from England.

I must say, the talkback feature on the bottom of the page is so great. It really makes this website seem much more interactive.

Thanks for your insights, metalcommand. =)

haha no problem Xereul, and that feature is pretty neat! I'm feeling we're more like a community now, people are actually nice to each other instead of random flaming =O

what's wore is that i can get them out without ripping them and with the staple one all you have to do is bend the staple taps up and look like he was tearing it intentionally

Yeah, I agree I like this one the best, mostly because of how he reacts to listening to the NP Editor's responses.

I loved getting that mag, but I always wanted Howard and Nester to be funnier. The first issue wasn't that exciting...it was just a fancy Nintendo Fun Club with a different name. I think this video needed a nod to Fun Club and its ballsy promo in punch out.

I never even knew the magazine existed. I learned about the Contra code via word of mouth from my friend who sold me his NES+2 Cartridge for $50 back in 1991 (I think). Otherwise, I would be stuck playing it hardcore with only 3 lives.
