Man how dumb was I that I actually enjoyed this back on the psx? Soooo horrible looking back and it sure didn't age.

I too was surprised by this review. I thought James was going to start reviewing games on this console full time as well. Which might not be a bad thing, considering the number of sucky games in the PS library. :P

this was the first game that i ever got so pissed off at that i actually broke it. that was about 6 years ago and i was 9. it took me hours to beat the first level. damn, what an abomination. glad to see it get riped into by the nerd

Man, I remember that game coming out and wishing I had a Playstation so I could blow up the big alien destroyer ships and re-enact the film.

This was back when I was a Nintendo SNES kid. Some of my friends had the 3D consoles and showed them to me. I remember the whole 3D aspect was so fascinating, I would believe the most incredible things of those games. When my friend showed me the space scenes of "Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire" I actually wondered if you could activate the hyperdrive and go anywhere in Star Wars. I knew nothing of the limits of games at the time, it was such an innocent era...
