Wow..a PS game. It must be really bad to make the nerd leave the bit-consoles for an episode.

I too was surprised by this review. I thought James was going to start reviewing games on this console full time as well. Which might not be a bad thing, considering the number of sucky games in the PS library. :P

I know I'm alone on this for some reason, but I consider Tomb Raider to be high up on that list.  Mediocre gameplay justified by looking at a chick's ass.  Twisted Metal was the only game I actually enjoyed on that thing, and they ruined it on the PS2 (and apparently on the PSP as well)

Wow, but then again this was around the time where Playstation was just starting off, so I'll give the technology the benefit of the doubt

Man, I remember that game coming out and wishing I had a Playstation so I could blow up the big alien destroyer ships and re-enact the film.

This was back when I was a Nintendo SNES kid. Some of my friends had the 3D consoles and showed them to me. I remember the whole 3D aspect was so fascinating, I would believe the most incredible things of those games. When my friend showed me the space scenes of "Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire" I actually wondered if you could activate the hyperdrive and go anywhere in Star Wars. I knew nothing of the limits of games at the time, it was such an innocent era...
