"stiff controls"? The controls for the original Castlevania are most definitely NOT "stiff", your just not doing a very good job of playing the game.

And it's absolutely hard as hell when you get to that point in the game as well!

you don't think the jumping is stiff?

that's my main issue on the Grim Reaper, can't control my jump and i end up bumping into him or another scythe as i attempt to dodge another?

maybe stiff is the wrong word

The Jumping isn't that great because Simon has alot of stuff to carry, the traditional Vampire hunting and slaying stuff besides the Vampire Killer whip, but that's how Simon was programmed in other-words.

One of the easiest ways to beat him is to get the Holy Water sub-weapon, stock up on hearts, and then just continuously throw the Holy Water at him, because that way he won't be able to move or use his Scythe to throw at you.

Sadly?  It's got Hideo Kojima and Patrick Stewart!  Besides, there's a truckload of 2D Castlevanias out there.

Castlevania is prob some of the best games ever created it would be so sick if that made one for the 360 and no not the SOTN arcade version but another leveling up side scrolling castlevania but for new systems like what they did for mega man 9

I should really get around to playing these games. Granted the only way I'll be able too play them is either by the Wii VC or Xbox Live Arcade, but hey, better late then never, eh?
