The Best Review Ever?- Pokemon Red Version (The Ultimate Pokemon Tribute- Episode 2)

My friends, if there was one game that meant more to me than any other game, that game would be Pokemon Red Version. My first game of all time. My FAVORITE game of all time. Eventually, I got Pokemon Blue Version, and a few years ago, one of my friends generously gave me his Pokemon Yellow Version.

(I know this is very long, but please, just read all of it. You will not be disappointed.)

The Ultimate Pokemon Tribute: Episode 1- Pokemon Blue Tribute (On the Road to Viridian City)

Hey, g1s! fp3 here with a brand new series!

I got the idea for "The Ultimate Pokemon Tribute" while I was looking at some old footage and music from the Pokemon games… And then I began to search for more Pokemon games. And old TV show episodes and music. And more and more and more! I finally realized how important these games, this music, and the TV show were to my childhood. Therefore, my future blogs for the next few months will be strictly classic Pokemon, 2005 and earlier, most likely. Those who have read my previous work know how detailed and fluently I write and will certainly not be disappointed.

I have been a Pokemon fan since the beginning. I'd go as far as saying that I am the biggest Pokemon fan on this web site. I was born and raised on the stuff. The games taught me math and reading, while the TV show was the one thing I could understand on TV and truly learn from. Pokemon was my life, and it is still a big part of it today. It actually does bring tears to my ideas.

So, for my first episode, I've decided to make a short tribute video for Pokemon Blue Version, which I just beat yesterday. I had always played Red version as a kid and beat it a few times, but I hardly played Blue version. In fact, I think yesterday's completion may be the first time I ever beat the game! Therefore, I decided to put in the song "Viridian City" as the background music. It was always my favorite music from "Pikachu's Jukebox" on the show's first two seasons. So, without further ado, here you are!:

Hey g1s!

With the launch of Version 4 (which is looking awesome by the way), I’ve realized that with all the new things happening, the old things might get a bit ignored. Seeing that, I just wanted to re-introduce myself a bit. I don’t think a lot of people here on ScrewAttack truly know me. So, here’s just a real quick list of ten things about me, fp3.

1. My favorite video games of all time are Pokemon Red, Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Emerald, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Halo 3, and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

2. My absolute least favorite video game of all time is Shadow the Hedgehog for the Gamecube.

3. My favorite video game series are Pokemon, Super Mario, and Super Smash Bros.

4. I currently own a Super Nintendo, a Nintendo 64, a Gamecube, a Wii, a Gameboy Color, two Gameboy Advances, a (broken) Gameboy SP, a Nintendo DS, a PlayStation 1, a Play Station Portable (PSP), and an Xbox 360.

5. The biggest thing I have ever done for gaming was, for at least a whole month, being #1 on the leaderboard for the Javelin Throw in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (and there were THOUSANDS of people).

6. Being a Freshmen in High School, I have gotten straight A’s my entire life, ranked third in my class as of last year (out of about 300 kids), and I am an exceptional writer (well, at writing things I actually enjoy writing). I am the President of the Freshmen Class. I am also great at baseball, being the starting catcher every year and batting second in the line-up. Despite these statement,s I am surprisingly quite humble.

7. I truly believe that I invented the “music to start off the blogs”. I called in “Topic-Related Music” and put it in my first episode of ~Gaming Anonymous~ on February 6^th of 2009 (http://screwattack.com/blogs/falconpunch3s-blog/Gaming-Anonymous-Episode-1-Jumpin). All of the comments praised the music, and I quote Silent_Protagonist, “I think the "background music" is a stroke of pure genius! I hope more g1s steal that idea…” AND YOU ALL DID! GRR! I’LL SUE YOU ALL!... lol, jk. I do love that everyone is doing it now. It entertains people while they read and keeps them from clicking away to other blogs.

8. People always refer to be as “fp3”, so, if you wanna keep a quick conversation, just refer to me as that.

9. At one point in time, I was ranked in the Top 15 on the ScrewAttack G1 Points Leaderboard. As of the very last day of Version 3, I was ranked 30^th.

10. Yes, Captain Falcon is my main character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The Falcon Punch and the Falcon Knee are my two favorite attacks in gaming history. That’s the origin of my username.

I also wish to announce that my blogs will receive an immense change.

Seeing as how tomorrow is Pokemon Gold and Silver’s 10^th anniversary, I wanted to do something special. I was looking at some old footage and music from the game… And then I began to search for more Pokemon games. And old TV show episodes and music. And more and more and more! falconpunch3's Video Game Comics (and MY FRUSTRATION!)

I have never been more angry at something so menial and trivial in my entire life...More into that later. To relieve my anger, I thought I'd share some comics I had made a while back. It's basically about Brenden from Pokemon Ruby expressing his frustration towards video games, just as I am doing this instant. ~ ~ ~ Anyway, I guess I'll explain my frustration now. I have been very stressed the past two weeks. School has started, I got tons of homework, I've felt sick and have been coughing quite a lot, my grandfather was in the hospital, he then passes away...It's been pretty hard. BUT, today, I think I was more angry at something than I had possibly ever been. My anger was towards: Halo 3. Halo 3 did it. It finally caused me to unleash my stress and anger from the past two weeks. NOTE: Only Halo 3 players will understand this story. THE STORY: I'm playing on Sand Trap. It is 6-on-3 (me being on the team with three people). The score is 50-10 or something. Every time I spawn, the Banshee is there to kill me. It was frustrating, but nowhere close as frustrating as this one player on the other team: SoCkPuPpEt420. Yes, that actually is his name. I was going through the center and he kills me. No problem. I'll just go right back again and surprise him. He's waiting right for me, and kills me again. Now, this didn't just happen once, it happened to me, your not gonna believe this, EIGHT times in a row. Yes, I got killed by one person eight times in a matter of a minute or two. I had spawned right next to the tunnel in the center (where SoCkPuPpEt420 was located) for those eight spawns. The game was literally taunting me. I could just imagine that kid laughing. It was unbelievable how he was killing me. The first time he simply out-BRed me. But every time after was just...impossible. He gets hit by two grenades, and shot in the head two times. I die. Same thing happens again. I go in again. He has a teammate with him, as do I. I give SoCkPuPpEt420 quite a lot of damage, probably putting him down to no shields. Me and my teammate kill HIS teammate, and then I go to search for the Sock Puppet bastard. I turn the corner, BAM! He was right behind me the whole time and assassinated me. There's no way in hell he was behind me! I mean, I was looking at the spot I was fighting him the WHOLE TIME! He was invisible or something, but their is no Active Camo (Invisibility) on the map. The next time I go in I hurt him, and he RUNS AWAY! His teammate comes in, and I somehow manage to kill the him ("him" being the teammate). I turn the corner, BAM!...He was right there, AGAIN, but this time he stuck me. Now, I don't know how I will be able to tell you this one. It was the most astounding, astonishing, unbelievable, overall apocalyptic thing I have ever, ever, EVER seen! I go in the tunnel. Plant a few shots on the Sock Puppet kid. He has no shields left, meaning one measly little bullet will kill him. I still have full shields. He lays a Bubble Shield down. FINE. I'm right next to him, I'll just go in and finish him off.........I'm dead. That's all I could see. You know what happened. He was flipping out because he was gonna die, so he started just throwing down random crap. He laid down the shield, backed up right into me, by Beat Down, somehow, someway, MISSED him (I WAS RIGHT F'ING NEXT TO HIM!). Now, he wasn't trying to jump over me and ninja and assassinate me. He's not smart enough to be able to do that. Knowing he was gonna die, confused in his Bubble Shield, he just walked backward, WALKED ON THE WALL, GOT BEHIND ME, AND ASSASSINATED ME... It was all downhill from there. I started spawning away from him, so I got killed by the Banshee and the Snipers and the Lasers every ten seconds when I spawned. Basically, it was hell. After the match, I invited SoCkPuPpEt420 to my party, just to tell him how unbelievably lucky he was. He started talking **** like one of those overconfident, bastardly **********s. I just gave up and walked away and went home (I was at my friend's house). I'm still fuming. I know, its silly, ridiculous even, to get so upset over a video game. Call me a ***** and whatnot, I don't care. I'm angry. -falconpunch3 UPDATE: I've calmed down, but I'm still angry. I would really appreciate people File Complainting or submitting Bad Player Reviews to SoCkPuPpEt420. Not for killing me in those ridiculous ways, but for being such an @$$hole in the Party afterwards. Who doesn't love Halo 3?...OK, half of you probably already clicked away from this. But, for those Halo 3 lovers still here, I'm doing something that I have wanted to do for a while now. You've seen The Top Ten Series on machinima, you know how awesome it is. That is why ScrewAttack should also have its own Halo 3 Top 10s. All clips in the Top 10s will be solely from our ScrewAttack g1s. Got an awesome overkill? Stuck someone from across the map? Just got a no-scope? Just submit it here! Video Games Are the Cause of Global Warming (Episode 1- Pokémon series)

Greetings and salutations, ladies and gentlemen. My name is falconpunch3, video game oppositionist and lawyer extraordinaire. As you know, video games have ruined the children for the past 25 or so years. I have been reading comments and I have seen that most of you cannot seem to figure out exactly why this is so. So, I will explain to you with examples why video games have destroyed our lives, one franchise at a time. EPISODE 1- POKEMON Pokémon may seem like tiny, cute, innocent creatures, but in reality, they are not. Pokémon are horrible, despicable, evil beings who wish to conquer the world. Most cannot decipher why the smart people, like me, consider them to be such cretins. Well, I have more examples than you can ever imagine. 1. Fighting Pokémon “trainers” raise their little monsters for battle. The main goal of the Pokémon series is to beat up everyone’s Pokémon and conquer the region. Trainers pit their Pokémon against others for strict, deadly combat. Pokémon has become very popular, and therefore can drill this fighting craze into all their miniscule brains. Children will fight in the playground. They’ll beat up their siblings. When they are in a simple disagreement, they will decide who wins by fighting. In fact, the intelligent people, like me, have already figured out that POKEMON CAUSED THE WAR IN IRAQ. Yes, it is sad but true. 2. The Moves Each Pokémon can learn and be taught certain “moves”, or attacks. Some moves are called “Sing” and “Yawn”, which are quite sweet and cute, but are only a distraction for the real powerful moves like “Flamethrower” and “Earthquake” and “Toxic”. This is a very serious issue. Flamethrowers are dangerous weapons, which are used to kill people. Earthquakes are natural disasters which kill thousands of people each year. Toxic is a serious poison that can lead to a very easy death. Children may imitate these moves and end up killing one another. In fact, two children once had a cat and a mouse and pretended they were Pokémon, a Meowth and a Pikachu. They ordered the cat to use “Scratch” attack and the mouse to use “Bite” attack. What happened? The mouse died and the cat was seriously infected. True story. 3. Trainers = Dictators Maybe it isn’t the Pokémon that are evil. Maybe it is the so-called “trainers” that are evil. You take the role as one of these “trainers” in every game. They train their Pokémon against others, beating up others in their path. They battle until their last health point. They order their Pokémon to fight in all conditions, to fight in unusually cruel ways. Then, they take over the region as a Pokémon Master. More like Pokémon dictator. One could even say that the Japanese are raising children to become their next dictators! 4. Quotes From the Games “Dropped my balls!” -An obvious reference to when boys hit puberty. Highly inappropriate for children. “My POKEMON are weak, so I often have to go to the DRUGSTORE.” -Hm, going to the drugstore because your Pokémon are weak? The trainer is obviously hinting that she is going to put her Pokémon on steroids, which are terrible for boys to take. It destroys your body in more ways than one. “Smell ya later!” -The character is very weird. If he smells someone, he would want to do things to that person. BAD things, which children shouldn’t know of. “We hope to see you again!” -This is said by nurses at Pokémon Centers, which are like hospitals for little demons. If a nurse wants to see you again, chances are that she wants your Pokémon to get hurt. What unkindly people…They are bad examples of real nurses. Now children may be afraid of them and never go to the doctor’s again, meaning they will die when they are sick. That is the power of this quote. “That’s mulch. It’s made from Pokémon…Well…You know…” -The character is referring to poop. Children should not even be thinking of these unkind words. They will become potty mouths. NO PUN INTENDED… “I like feisty kids!’ -The man is obviously a pedophile. “Hit me with your best shot!” “Fired away!” -An obvious take and rip off an amazing song. They should sue Nintendo for copyright infringement. 5. Rods To catch fish in the games, you can use either an OLD ROD, a GOOD ROD, or a SUPER ROD. They never call them fishing rods or fishing poles. Just rods. In fact, in the first few games in the series, they never showed actual detailed pictures of the fishing rods. It just looked like stick coming out of your body. Who’s to say that the stick isn’t the boy character’s reproductive organ? After all, they do call them rods, which is a common slang term for a male reproductive organ. And since they’re fishing with it, some children may think like me and try it out for themselves. This can result in an easy death for a child if a fish nibbles on it. You may think I’m over exaggerating, but just think about it. 6. Balls “Balls” are a common term for a male’s testicles. In the Pokémon games, you catch Pokemon using Poke Balls, Great Balls, Ultra Balls, Master Balls, etc. Some children might think they are using actual testicles. This could result in some boy ripping off his testicle and throwing it at an animal attempting to “capture” it. The boy could easily die or be greatly injured by this wrongdoing. Also, there is a character called Kurt who is called the “Ball Master”. He fashions and creates his own types of Balls. The boy might think it is OK to rip off his testicle, since he could get Kurt just to make him a new one. In reality, that would never happen. 7. Odd Pokémon Jynx is a black, female Pokémon with large breasts. She may be seen as a stereotype to black woman. Actually, a black woman sued Nintendo and the character’s face was changed to a purple color. So Nintendo meant to do it! And, when they could’ve lost lots of money, they just changed the face color to avoid paying huge fees. A sly, mischievous move by Nintendo…You will pay one day, Nintendo. YOU WILL PAY! This Pokémon, Metapod, is shaped like a male’s reproductive organ. It also knows the attack “Harden”, which makes it harder. Obviously, it is a reference to an erection, the slang term being “getting hard”. Ludicolo is a festive, carefree Pokémon. It’s pre-evolution, Lombre, sounds like the Spanish term “hombre”. Ludicolo also wears a sombrero and dances around a lot. It is a Mexican stereotype. 8. Surf and Dive In all the main Pokémon games, you may surf on top of your Pokémon using the move Surf. The waters you surf in, however, are invested with piranha, shark, and jellyfish-like Pokémon. You can easily defeat these Pokémon. But, when some kid goes in the Amazon River thinking he can beat up the piranhas, he will be dead within minutes. In Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, the trainer could command their Pokémon to use Dive, a move that allows your Pokémon to dive underwater. While this is fine, you can stay underwater for an UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF TIME. Therefore, kids may also think that this is possible and attempt to stay underwater endlessly. By doing this, they would drown and all die in a horrible, breathless death. 9. Evolution Pokémon grow stronger by changing their form by evolving. When they evolve, the Pokémon become bigger, stronger, and overall better than their previous form. The games are obviously trying to make us believe in Darwin’s theory of evolution! They may have fooled everyone else, but the Japanese and Darwin shall never trick me. 10. Names In the Pokémon games, you are permitted to give your Pokémon a nickname. It can be as cute as “Fluffy” or as cool as “fp3”. However, you are allowed to give your Pokémon very inappropriate nicknames. There are no sensors. So, instead of your character saying “Go, Pikachu!”, he will say “Go, F***face!” There is also a Name Rater, a man who allows you to change the nicknames of your Pokémon. The problem is, if the Pokémon is obtained in a trade, he will refuse to change the name if your Pokémon. He will just say the nickname is great as it is, and doesn’t need changing. So, instead of naming your Skitty “Miss Tufsy”, she’ll remain being called “@$$wipe”. 11. The Necessities of Life You can store many items in your Bag in the Pokémon games. However, one thing you don't store in your bag is food. You cannot eat. In the main adventure games, you cannot eat anything. Your character also never drinks anything. He never changes his clothes. He never goes to a home to sleep in. Therefore, you play as a hobo. You’re starving, thirsty, have one pair of clothes, and sleep on the streets. Kids who want to become Pokémon “trainers” when they grow up will just be hobos, and no one wants to be a hobo. 12. Money In the games, the currency is Poke Dollars. A simply festive envelope, such as Fab Mail, costs 50 Poke Dollars. I’m guessing that is about 50 cents in the Poke Dollar to USD rate. However, kids may not think of this and end up spending $50 on an envelope. $200 on a bouncy ball. Or even $300 on a candy bar. They’ll be ripped off their whole lives. They’ll become poor and have no food or water, no clothes or a home to live in. They will be hobos, as aforementioned. They will die, just because of Pokémon. 13. Gambling Gambling is commonly used in Pokémon games. In every main adventure game, there is a Casino where you bet money and play the slots, or even the roulette. Most people who play the Pokémon games are under the age of 21, the legal age where you are allowed to gamble. Thus, every child is breaking the law by playing the slots in video games. If the police found out, the parents of the child will be charged of a disorderly persons offence. 14. Type Advantage In the Pokémon series, they’re 17 types of Pokémon, including Fire, Water, Grass, and Electric. Each type has its advantages and weaknesses against one another. Water moves are great against Fire Pokémon, and Electric moves are good against Water Pokémon. Poison moves don’t affect against Steel types, and Ground moves don’t affect Flying types. However, the weirdest type advantage I found was that Fighting moves are extremely effective against Rock Pokémon. Why? If you punch a rock, you are only hurting yourself. This doesn’t teach kids what life is really like. If a kid punched a rock, he would break his hand. 15. Trading In the Pokémon games, you are allowed to trade Pokémon via Link Cable, Wireless Adapter, or even Wi-Fi! But, when you trade Pokémon, what are you really doing? You are trading Pokémon with a friend so each of you become stronger. It’s like if Japan and China only traded goods amongst each other! They would become more powerful, and eventually TAKE OVER THE WORLD! 16. Breeding Sexual intercoarse is not appropriate for any game played by children. But when the child FORCES THEIR POKEMON TO HAVE SEX, it draws the line and then highlights it with Black Magic Marker. The Pokemon can have unlimited amounts of eggs. And, your character must take care of the babies, not the actual parents. Yes, kids. Have all the children you want, then just get someone else to care for them. Such evil is produced from this game... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ As you can see, the Pokémon series is a terrible example for children. It is violent, grotesque, and is helping the Japanese to take over the world. I rest my case. DISCLAIMER: All my views expressed in this blog series are completely untrue. Hey g1s. I’ve been thinking recently about overlooked some g1s are, and about how I seem to keep going back to read blogs from certain people. So, I’ve decided to make a list to show you g1s some real blogging inspirations with the best bloggers on ScrewAttack.com! ~RULES~ 1. No moderators. (Sorry mods, I just thought it’d be a bit unfair if you were here over other g1s. Give the g1s some recognition, you know?) 2. Just because you are lower on the list, or not on the list at all, does not mean I don’t like you. This Top 10 is solely for how good of a blogger they are. You could be my mother and not be on the list, that is, if my mom was a g1 and wasn’t very good at blogging. 3. I’m basing this off of WRITTEN BLOGS only. Meaning that g1s who just make mainly awesome video (like chefprotoss) won’t appear on the list. Sorry. 4. DO NOT FLAME THE LIST. IT IS ALL OPINION…Though I do know it will be flamed anyway… 5. REMEMBER, IT IS ALL OPINION. You could be the best blogger ever and still not be on the list. MY OPINION, not anybody else. 10. Ghostriderinthesky BEST BLOG: An Analysis of (Classic) RPGs: Which Aspect Is Better? Ghostriderinthesky is the newest g1 on the list, being one for exactly 50 days now. In those 50 days, he has accomplished quite a lot. He’s been constantly making out Top 5s that are so unique you just have to tune into them. Top 5 Evil Tunes, Top 5 2D Sonic Levels on the Genesis, Top 5 Recurring Mario Baddies, and Top 5 Mario RPG Non-Final Bosses. Very original names for very original (and fantastic) lists. He goes into great detail and has supplies all the pictures, but it’s really his surprise endings that make his blogs so awesome. Sure, it may cause a lot of flaming, but I like that in a list. He’s also a fan of RPGs…And not so much of one about school. School rants, FTW. Who likes school? Keep up the great work, dude. 9. Whitly BEST BLOG: Whitly’s Top Lists: Top 12 Cute Characters Whitly has been here for almost a year now, and I didn’t even know him until two months ago. He had his account blocked and has made a huge comeback since then. He’s an overall positive person and is always leaving some nice feedback. His blog series called “S.O.M.A.R.” are probably his most famous blogs, going into huge detail over a single game. While I think there good, I really liked his Top 12 lists. Yeah, a Top 12! Who would’ve thought? They are really original and fun to read. However, he’s only made three of them. More, please! 8. Jknight253 BEST BLOG: A Nostalgic Look at: Pokemon #1…Pokemon Yellow. Seemingly a huge Mega Man fan, Jknight253 is also a man of many other gaming series such as Pokemon. He went into great, nostalgic detail when he talked about Pokemon Yellow. It brought back so many memories for me, too…We actually share a lot in common. Fans of the Pokemon series, hating iCarly and the Naked Brothers Band, and even the Rocky movie series. He’s been making a lot of Top 10s, which are all fantastic, and ranks series’ by listing in order the worst to best games in the series. A very original blog concept, indeed. I have noticed how many people comment on his blogs, and let me tell you, he is not getting the recognition he deserves. 7. DJGrandPa BEST BLOG: DJGrandPa Top 10 Games- Of All Time! That guy from Sweden, DJGrandPa probably has the best grammar for a non States/Canandian g1. I find it amazing that people can talk in so many languages, while I can only speak one. DJGrandPa has a lot of gaming faves that I thoroughly enjoy, such as Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal and Super Mario World. He REALLY loves Super Mario World, writing four times more about it than any other game on his Top 10 List. He may be most famous “My Favorite Game in the ______ Series”, but he should also be famous for his very positive and friendly manner. 6. PekoponTAS BEST BLOGS: 10 Things Super Mario RPG Did Right Top 5 Things They Need to Add/Remove for Pokemon “The Fifth Generation” Currently 6th on the G1 Leaderboard, PekoponTAS has actually only been a member for 37 weeks! From what I can tell, he is a HUGE Mario, Pokemon, and Kirby fan, especially Kirby. I can’t help but laugh along with some of his blogs. He really does have a great sense of humor. His comics are also very original and humorous. His Top 10s are well thought-out and intriguing. Pekopon makes tons of blogs and puts tons of effort into them. He has become one of my favorite bloggers. He deserves to be #6 on not just my list, but the G1 Leaderboard as well. 5. DanteElDiablo BEST BLOGS: Get to Know a G1: MikeV18 A Guide to Giving and Receiving Comments and Feedback To G1 Blogs Dante is the king of interviews. He is the one who started it all with Interview Blogs. They were fantastic interviews, and the amazing idea has been used by many other G1s today. A while back, he was #2 on the G1 Leaderboard. We were all hoping for him to finally take down digitaldebaser (No offense fan, but we wanted a non-mod g1 for #1), and since then, the job has been done by two others. Dante never accomplished the dream feat. He was the master of the news as well, making his G1 News Segment, which was I genius idea which I admittedly copied. A few months ago he received some bad news and was gone for quite some time. Just when we all thought he was gone forever, he came back with his interview of MikeV18, shocking us all. Dante is one of the nicest, coolest G1s out there, so respect him. 4. Thunderbird BEST BLOGS: Thunderbird’s Top 10 Mario Kart 64 Tracks Thunderbird’s Top 100 Games (5-1) In my opinion, Thunderbird is the king of Top 10 lists, a role of which I am trying to take over. His Top 10s are amazing and are what you may call “generic”, but that is what makes him the Top 10 List King. As the king of Top 10s, you must make generic, awesome lists. He’s simply doing his job. In the past, Thunderbird has also made a Top 100 list, and, as he would say it, was “one FREAKIN point away!” from being in the Ultimate Gamer Quiz Finals. He’s also running his own Podcast, does tons of reviews, and has started making videos as of late. Hey, he hasn’t made a Top 10 List in 11 days! Now is my chance to strike! One more thing about Thunderbird: BIGGEST. EARTHBOUND. FANBOY. EVER. I’m not saying that as a bad thing, but it is true. 3. Silent_Protagonist BEST BLOGS: SP Presents: g1 Bios & Interview ARCHIVE SP’s Overlooked and Underrated: ARCHIVE SP’s Blogging and Coding Tutorial Being here for exactly a year and one day, he has accomplished way too much. Like Dante, he respects the g1s and everyone respects him. Also like Dante, SP has shown some g1 love and posted and talked about Underrated and Overlooked Blogs, one of the most popular blog series on ScrewAttack.com. His blogs have gotten some g1s those extra Top Post points, he has interviewed tons of people in some of the best interviews I’ve EVER read, and he even taught everyone the coding for doing things like bolding and linking things in blogs, including myself. Living a cruel past, SP has come through and has made a huge comeback and become one of the best G1s out there. His past taught him something pretty deep, and he has shown it to the g1 community. In my opinion, SP would be the best candidate for a moderator out of anyone g1 out there. He already shows the blogs he likes, why not just let him Top Post them? The only reason SP didn’t get higher on the list is because most of his blogs couldn’t really be considered blogs. Still, they are fantastic. 2. Elmo 3000 BEST BLOGS: ALL OF HIS RANTS. Srsly. At this point, who doesn’t know Elmo 3000? He was #1 on the G1 Leaderboard a couple of days ago, but now he let the mods take over again! What the hell, man!? (lol, jk) Elmo has arguably the best and most famous and most copied and most original (at the time) blog series out there: His rants. Who hasn’t read them? From Bugs Bunny to Pokemon and even to Google, Elmo covers everything! Elmo is also an interviewer, and a great one at that. Everyone knows on the site that 95% of anything titled “Elmo” will be a Top Post. I could’ve just titled this blog as “Elmo 3000” and it’d be a Top Post. Elmo 3000 has that special power and writing talent that makes his name so legendary on the site. What I find amazing about Elmo is that he only owns five systems, the NES, theSNES, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy SP, and the Gamecube ! He’s a Top G1 and doesn’t even own a next-gen console! That makes him even more amazing. No one disrespects Elmo. If you do, you will suffer dire consequences. MWHAHAHAHA…Sorry ‘bout that. 1. Jet Fire BEST BLOG IN EXISTANCE: Jet Fire’s Personal Top 100 Games of All Time (Complete “Longest List is History” Version) I hardly know this guy. What I do know is that he is the best blogger on ScrewAttack.com. He has only been a member for 144 days, yet he is #13 on the G1 Leaderboard. His blogs are LEGENDARY. He created a Top 100 Video Games of All Time List, which earned him 4000 Points, and is even featured on the front page of ScrewAttack.com. The amount this guy writes simply amazes me. He writes what most people can barely manage to write in one blog for just one game. He made #1 on his list a great game, of which no one should argue about. Hell, his whole list was filled with amazing games. What this guy writes is beyond amazing. Best Top 100 EVER. Nobody could possibly ever fill in to be the next Top 100 writer. He is the king of the Top 100, and the #1 Blogger on ScrewAttack.com. I only wish I knew more about him. Personally, I think he is a robot. No normal human being could possibly write that much. Hey guys, falconpunch3 here with another Top 10 list. For the next few weeks, I’m going with just strictly Top 10 lists from now on. But, they’re not just your ordinary Top 10 lists. They are all gonna be Top 10 video music lists! So, let’s start it off with one of the most memorable types of video game music: LEVEL MUSIC. ~THE RULES~ 1. The music must occur in a video game level at some point in the game. 2. Only one theme per sub-franchise (meaning I can have something from a Mario game, Donkey Kong game, Wario game, etc.) OK, let’s just get this started. 10. Ristar- Shooting Ristar (Round 1-1) I bought the Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection expecting to play some Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Spinball. Then, I see “Ristar”. I heard of it before. All I knew was that it involved some weird star guy who could extend his arms really far. What I didn’t expect was a very deep, fun game. I was honestly surprised of how good game was. But, what made me think it was a good game right from the start was this music. As soon as you click “Game Start”, this wonderful music begins to play. The tune really fits the “tropical” theme of the level. Swinging from trees, bashing enemies, and launching yourself thousands of feet in the air as a tiny little shooting star…Yeah, the game is pretty good. The upbeat, catchy theme not only matches the level, but the way the game plays altogether. 9. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island- Flower Garden After Yoshi’s awesome debut in Super Mario World, he just had to get his own game, and it was a masterpiece. You step into the first true level of 1-1, getting ready to tear up some enemy @$$. Instead, you are greeted to a happy, colorful, flower-filled environment…Which is just as awesome, well, gameplay wise. But, what really made the level was the music. We get a very peaceful, upbeat, catchy tune simply known as “Flower Garden,” which suits the environment to a T. The smiling flowers and smiling hill and the happy music just makes you want to…well…smile. It makes you just want to whip out a harmonica and play along. Listen to this music on any sunny day and it will fit perfectly, maybe even bring a smile to your face. 8. Donkey Kong Country- Aquatic Ambiance As you carry on your adventure, you take a look at a beautiful, glistening pond. You decide to dive in, and you are greeted with one of the most beautiful pieces of music in gaming history. Aquatic Ambiance signifies that you are about to dive into a water wonderland. Tiny fish are swimming around, bubbles slowly rising to the surface, vegetation bursting from all over…It is a beautiful sight to behold. The level would be just any other ordinary level without this music. It represents how beautiful undersea live is. What makes the music better is if you are actually playing the game, you hear all the little sound effects, like the bubbles forming, the cackle of a cephalopod breezing by, and the sweet little sound of grabbing a banana. Without a doubt, it is one of the most magnificent and most peaceful pieces in gaming history. 7. Duck Tales- Moon Theme As soon as you select “The Moon” in the main menu, you are greeted to a blast of gaming awesomeness. You’re dropped into a isolated environment with an alien standing right in your face. You take a quick look at the background and notice a fantastic sight of stars twinkling, a tiny planet, and a miniscule sprite of Saturn. This is your environment, and the music fits in perfectly. Kicking alien as well as space duck butt throughout the level, and grabbing some cash while you’re at it, the music starts off slow, and then takes off like a rocket shooting into space. Just hearing, you think, “This is what the NES is all about. This is nostalgia.” There’s something about that mystical space ambiance and that brilliant music that just brings a tear to your eye…Well, not really. But it’s still gorgeous. 6. Chrono Trigger- Guardia Millennial Fair Put this song in your MP3. OK? Now, go to the carnival and play some games. Then, turn on this music. Wa-la! Carnival music. When I first heard this theme, this has got to be for a carnival of some sort. Sure enough, it was for the Guardia Millennial Fair, a wonderful, colorful carnival that comes once every 1000 years. Five minutes into the game you’re greeted to a brilliant, joyful, extravagant parade of fantastic, simple but fun mini-games. Betting on races, soda-drinking contests, playing “haunted” mini-games, getting a girlfriend…and beating up a giant cat robot thing…Yeah, don’t ask. It’s the tiny little things about amazing games that makes them so amazing. This little fair, combined with its PERFECTLY-fitting music, is one of the best ways to start off any video games. Now, if only I had the money to get the game…A whu-whu-whu-WHAAAAT!?!?! There’s a remake on DS? No way! *Goes out and buys it* 5. Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal- Route 42/43/44/Lake of Rage WOW! This is the best Route theme in any Pokemon game…Ever! Since Routes are technically levels, this does count! Now, this music plays in four different places: Route 42, Route 43, Route 44, and the Lake of Rage. When I played this game as a kid, I solely remember this tune playing on Lake of Rage. I walked up to this magnificent lake, and the music starts to play. It has an epic feel, showing you’re nearing the end of your journey. As you walk up and down the lake, you get such a rush of bravery and courage. You feel like you can do anything, like you are top of the world! When you think things couldn’t get any better, you just look to the middle of the lake, where you spot a mysterious red creature, like that coming from an old storybook. It is none other than a Red (rather than blue) Gyrados, a great Pokemon with a glistening red glow and a mystical appearance. It is a beautiful sight to see AND listen to. 4. Super Mario Galaxy- Gusty Garden Galaxy This is orchestrated music at its finest. Without a doubt, Super Mario Galaxy has one of the best soundtracks of any video game…ever! And this is as good it gets! You’re dropped onto a little planet with blooming flowers, then you ride the winds on some flowers, all while staring at the beautiful scenery surrounding you. The sky is blue, the grass is green, the flowers are blooming…It’s a beautiful sight to see. And the action is fantastic, too. Piranha Plants are sprouting from all over, moles digging underneath you, and even the little Star Bits bouncing about. The music is what makes this stage even more memorable. It sounds peaceful, yet very heroic. It tells you to keep going. Defeat Bowser, save the Princess… It makes what looks like a normal level seem very magnificent, grand, wondrous, gorgeous, and epic. 3. Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle)- That’s the Way I Like It (Metal Harbor) Now THIS is blood-pumping music. I mainly love two things about the Sonic series: Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and the music! So, why not combine the best level in Sonic Adventure 2 and the best music in the Sonic series them? “That’s the Way I Like It” plays on the Metal Harbor stage, so most people including myself just call the song “Metal Harbor”. Oh, but what a song it is. You’re dropped into the military base, located just off a coastal beach somewhere into the ocean. Sonic, mistaken as a criminal by the military, must escape the base and find Shadow, the hedgehog he has been mistaken for. What we get is a level full of it, you guessed it, metal and water. But there’s more than that. There’s loop-de-loops, long stretches of rings, jet planes, and even a missile! And what better way to get through all of it then with some kick-@$$ music? The mix of what I believe to be trumpets and an electric guitar make a perfect combination. Zooming through the level, the music just makes you want to go faster and keep on running forever…Unfortunately, it is the shortest level in the game. :0[ But, Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle) does have a Sound Test Mode AND a CD Soundtrack! Righteous! 2. Mega Man 2- Dr. Wily’s Castle (Stage 1 and 2) The best 8-Bit music of all time, Dr. Wily’s Castle theme for Stages 1 and 2 from Mega Man 2 is an absolute CLASSIC. It starts off fast, grabs hold of you, and then never lets go. Just beating up baddies and jumping on platforms. Does a game really need any more than that? “Just keep on going…” you’re telling yourself. “I’m almost there…” But then, out of nowhere, comes the Dragon. If you have played Mega Man 2 and don’t remember the Dragon, you must have memory loss issues. It just pops up out of nowhere! You’re scared for a second, but then the music boosts you back to normal and gives you the strength to thrash it. In Stage 2, spikes and drills keep coming relentlessly, with you barely avoiding them each step of the way. Just listening to the music, you’re thinking, “Nothing can stop me…” The music gives you the power to take down Wily…for the second time! 1. Mario Kart 64- Rainbow Road This is it. The best video game music to occur on any video game level. EVER. Mario Kart 64, arguably the best Mario Kart, got nearly everything right when it all came down to it, and the music was no exception. We were greeted to icy melody of the frozen wonderland of Frappe Snowland, and the tropical island-esque tune of Koopa Troopa Beach. But, no one could forget Rainbow Road. Everyone’s favorite race track was also accompanied by the greatest music in the entire game. Whenever you listen to the music, you either feel overjoyed or depressed. But, why is that? The nostalgia is taking over. The song indicates the end of a journey. A long, epic journey with no other way to finish it but to take a breath-taking ride over a rainbow. When you’re on Rainbow Road, you watch the colors on the smooth past fly past you. You gaze deeply at the endless pitch-black night, and stare in awe the bright neon constellations of all the racers in the game. The only things getting in your way are those pesky Chain Chomps. But, you may just find yourself so dissolved in the music you’ll completely miss them and get smashed by them. But, you keep going. And when you see the finish line for that third and final time, with that 1st Place icon is the bottom-left corner of your screen, you just think “It’s over…” and you can’t help but smile. It goes something along the lines of “Dun dun dun, dun-dun-dun-dun-dun, dun-dun-dun, dun dun dun dun-dun-dun-dun-dun!” I know that probably doesn't help, but it's really catchy and upbeat. I am 95% positive that it is one of the original three Sonic the Hedgehog games on the Genesis. Please help! It’s really frustrating that I’m humming something and I don’t even know what it is called!

The Ultimate Gamer Quiz- The Final Results! (See who is the best gamer on ScrewAttack.com!)

Well, well, well…It’s finally over. The Ultimate Gamer Quiz was truly a brawl, with people fighting for the top spots. If you never heard of this “Ultimate Gamer Quiz”, I’ll give a very brief explanation. This quiz was composed of 110 Questions, all about video games. Each question was based on a single video game, not a series. Meaning that I covered a total of 110 different video games in the competition. Wow! You really had to know all your consoles to win. I knew the answer to every question before writing it down, just to show that I could’ve gotten a perfect score and nobody could’ve accused me of saying “It was too hard!” I researched nothing. Each multiple-choice question was worth one point, and the bonus questions(short-answer questions) were worth three points each. The two competitiors with the highest scores advanced to the Final Round, which was composed of 26 questions. However, instead of each question being based on a single game, each was based on an entire series. The top two were exol720 and Team_Discovery_Channel, both with wonderful performances in the first round. Welcome to Part 2 of the Top 25 Video Game Characters list! If you haven’t seen Characters #25-#11, please check it out by clicking this link: http://screwattack.com/node/23667 Today it’s #10-#1, what you really came to see! Let’s just get right into it. 10. Mega Man (8-Bit series) Mega Man started off as an innocent little robot in 1987. But when this little guy was put onto the stage for the first time, he destroyed everything! With just a few little beams from his arm cannon, he could take down almost any enemy. Then, after defeating a robot master, he steals their weaponry and puts it in his own arsenal! Originally just a lab assistant, Mega Man, who had formerly been known as Rock, was reprogrammed in a battle robot in a time of need. He battled his way through countless robots, weak and powerful, until finally defeating the evil genius Dr. Wily. He begged for forgiveness, so Mega Man spared him, showing that even robots have a heart. “But why the 8-Bit Mega Man” you may ask. Well, it’s because it was before we learned that Mega Man could talk (curse you, Mega Man , before he got lame powers (once again, curse you Mega Man , and, before he had to be featured in animated cut scenes to show how awesome he was (Mega Man 8!!!). A tiny robot taking down those so much more powerful than him… It’s really quite epic. He’s sort of a mix of Kirby (stealing his foe’s abilities)and Samus (with the arm cannon). Speaking of Samus… 9. Samus Aran The galactic space warrior/bounty hunter never ceases to amaze us. Raised by aliens, who had given her the Power Suit. She’d just be a “cool” character if you just played the beginning of Metroid. However, if you played it all the way to the end, you’d find out Samus was a girl all along. It really changed many gamers opinions of what girls could do in a video game. The Power Suit is one of the prime features (GET IT?!?!? I SAID PRIME!!! AS IN METROID PRIME!! IT’S F***** HILARIOUS HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA LOLOLOLOL11!1!!!!...jk lol) of Samus. It’s orange glow gives it a sleek look. It allows Samus to use a Screwattack (GET!?!?!?!? SCREWATTACK!!! I SAID IT IN THE BLOG BUT IT’S ALSO THE NAME OF THE SITE HAHHAHAHJHAAH AjahahahshbHfabjklvzsdd sfvihk nbnljkvb…I’m a natural comedian, as you can plainly see), allowing her to spin in the air and also damage enemies. Her arm cannon can launch energy balls and missiles, as well as use a grapple beam to grab onto enemies. The suit even allows her to curl up into a tiny ball about ¼ of her size and roll around. However, for many of us it’s what on the inside that counts…The inside being her body, that is. Samus without her suit is a beautiful young woman. Appealing and sexy by many, she is probably the closest thing to mature-rated that Nintendo has EVER created. Without her suit, Samus is faster and slicker than ever before. Many gamers simply play the Metroid games just to see the real, suitless Samus always “reveal” herself at the end. 8. Bowser If you know Mario, you know Bowser. Possibly the greatest rival in video games, Mario and Bowser never seem to stop fighting and bickering…You know, unless you’re playing some Mario RPGs. A fire-breathing turtle/lizard with a spiky shell and ferocious claws, he’s not someone to mess with. Bowser’s a rigorous villain focused on just kidnapping Princess Peach. He will do ANYTHING to kidnap Peach. He has grabbed her in the middle of the night, taken her into space, and even has gotten his own children in on the act! Bowser always acts like a big oaf, but he’s still got some sweet machinery. He’s got his Koopa Clown Car, a small airship propelled by a single, well, propeller. He has made giant airships/fortresses armed with the various weapons and minions. He’s made a device that can turn people into trophies…Then again, maybe he just ordered his minions to do it. Either way, you don’t wanna mess with him. 7. Duke Nukem He’s a lady’s man, and a bad@$$. Tearing his way through aliens and all kinds of crap, he makes blowing $hit up even more fun. Boisterous, bombastic, and brawny, Duke Nukem can be no further described. Here’s a video of all of his bad@$$ quotes to further prove his bad@$$ery: (^Video is not mine.) Every single one of those quotes could be featured in a “Top 10 Video Game Quotes”. Which one is your favorite? Bad@$$ Duke Nukem is a bad@$$. 6. Little Mac Little Mac is the underdog, simply put, that is. A 4’8’’, 107-pound, 17-year-old little guy, he is one of the most underestimated video game characters of all time. Taking down opponents nearly twice his size and sometimes over four times his weight. Little Mac never gives up though. Little Mac is a brave teenager going against the odds. He’s humble and agile. Though he’s small, don’t mess with his uppercut. That’ll mess you up. But why is Little Mac placed so well on the list? Because he’s a hero. The underdog. He’s like Rocky, and who doesn’t love Rocky? 5. Sonic the Hedgehog An animal made of speed and courage, Sonic has traveled near and far just to rescue his friends and woodland creatures. He even describes himself as “just a guy that loves adventure”. Sonic is often called the fastest thing alive (just listen to the SatAM Sonic intro) for a good reason: He’s fast as hell. The gameplay in almost all Sonic games focuses on one main point: speed, of course. Sonic is among my favorite characters of gaming not for just for his abilities, but for his personality as well. He’s not only quick with his feet, but with his mind as well. And he’s very brave and courageous, stopping at nothing to save …whatever it is that he’s saving. Sonic is a true hero and helped to make the company who created him, SEGA, a money-making industry. Ryan Drummond was Sonic best voice. He was in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Sonic was a master of cool quotes and a cool voice. Now he’s…meh. 4. Super Mario Wow, do I really have to write this? Do you people not understand Super Mario? An Italian plumber becoming a hero and saving a princess, fighting his way through hoards of enemies and beating the odds? And, in the end, destroying the evil beast that kidnapped his beloved princess again and again and again!?!...Oh, well I guess I should flush him out, anyway. Mario is the most unlikely hero that you could possibly think of, but that’s what makes him so great. Who would think that a portly, mustachioed, small, and awfully quiet plumber could kill thousands of atrocious monsters and baddies and ultimately save a fair maiden over and over and over again? Mario is a brave, admirable fellow who just wants a little love from the Princess. Is that to much to ask? But maybe what makes Mario so cool is his sick “powers”. He can jump two stories high. His feet have power beyond comparable. He has superhuman strength. He can throw fire. He can flip between dimensions. He can hold his breath for prolonged periods of time, and can actually survive without oxygen while in outer space. He can survive two jumps into lava. He can be electrocuted twice without dying. And, even though he’s a little on the heavy side, he’s fast enough to run up walls…What a guy… Besides saving the princess, Mario enjoys playing golf, baseball, soccer, basketball, kart-racing, and Olympic Games. Oh, and he has saved the universe. No big deal. 3. (TIE)Solid Snake and Big Boss/Naked Snake These two are perhaps the coolest gaming characters out there. However, they have some of the hardest work cut out for them. They literally won the wars that they fought in by themselves. These men are what you would call war heroes. They won the war for our country. They had no ordinary experiences, though. No soldier would want to recall what these men saw on the battlefield. Solid Snake saw destructive machines taking over and people reading his mind, while Big Boss was actually seeing ghosts and fighting a man who can manipulate electricity and use it like a Pikachu. O__O Solid Snake is literally a clone of Big Boss. Snake was trained to be an unstoppable soldier, and boy was he. He and his “father” were both of equal heroic calibers. Masters of battle, survival, and not to mention geniuses as well, there personalities only made them even better. The only thing in the universe that can defeat them is Meta Knight (freakin’ SSBB). Both were guys who kept there cool, even while being attacked by ghosts or stomped by giant robots. Both were able to resist romantic temptations just to stay focused on a mission. Both had an awesome voice, and were very comical to boot. An interesting story about these two heroes was that Solid Snake found out that Big Boss had turned evil, while in actuality Big Boss was just creating a better place for soldiers. Snake’s mission was to kill Big Boss. He fought Big Boss in a gunfight and defeated him. Four years later, it was discovered that Big Boss was still alive and continuing his plans. Snake once again fought him and used a flamethrower, apparently killing him. It turns out that Big Boss was miraculously somehow alive, showing how truly invincible he is. SPOILER ALERT! In MGS4, the meet up for the first time in 15 years. Snake was shocked to even find Big Boss alive, thinking he had died from the flamethrower. However, instead of fighting, they hug each other and show a true father-son bond. Then, of course, Big Boss’s body finally loses its battle against FOXDIE and ultimately dies. Solid Snake is currently spending the few days he has left enjoying life, as it should be. SPOILER OVER. ^This is Big Boss from MGS3, who does look very similar to Solid Snake. 2. Master Chief WOW. This is the character I think of when I hear the word “epic”. Just take a look at this guy and you know he’s gonna kick some serious alien butt. Alien obliteration is his job, you could say, as he has managed to kill thousands of aliens and save our planet and win “the fight”. Master Chief is really a supersoldier, a biologically enhanced human kidnapped by the military at the age of six and trained simply for warfare. He’s managed to survive everything the UNSC (the military) and the aliens could throw at him. Out of 75 people chosen to be SPARTANS, Chief is the only one to still be alive. He has earned every possible medal from the UNSC except the Prisoner of War Medallion. Nobody can stop the Master Chief. What makes the MC even better is his personality. He shows no other emotion than courage. He makes his ways through some battles by willpower alone. He stays cool no matter what the situation is. He keeps his promises, no matter at what cost they may be. Chief is there when you need him the most. He is the most respected soldier in the UNSC. He also has superhuman strength. He carries weapons even bigger than himself. He must carry his heavy armor around. With the armor on, Chief weighs over 1000 pounds…Yet he can still has the power to jump to ridiculous heights. Amazingly, Chief doesn’t even get tired. When holding a gun, his arm doesn’t even shake in the slightest bit, no matter how heavy the weapon is. He is truly one of a kind. 1. (Revolver/Liquid) Ocelot This is a character that I am amazed with, and yet I still do not fully understand him. He’s a bad guy, right? Or wait, is he a good guy? He’s definitely a good guy in Metal Gear Solid 3, but in Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 he’s bad. But in Metal Gear Solid 4, he’s bad, but tells Snake he was helping him? What!? I don’t get him, and that’s what makes Ocelot so cool. He keeps his cool. He looks cool. He has a cool codename. Heck, he even talks cool! But best of all, he dances pretty damn cool: They should really use that as the next rick-roll. He wears a long jacket and exhibits long gray hair and a mustache. But, looking closely at his appearance, you can see that he was meant to look like a western feller. A duster, spurs, gunbelt, a Western accent…Cowboy, much? All he needs is a ten-gallon hat and he’s on his way. He wields a Colt Single Action Army revolver, saying that it is “the greatest handgun ever made”. Hence, he used to call himself “Revolver” Ocelot, for his love of revolvers. Ocelot lost his right hand in the first MGS, but later replaces it with his former dead boss’s hand, giving Ocelot a bit of a personality change. He becomes more intense and menacing. He hypnotized himself into thinking he was Ocelot, and that’s pretty awesome. There’s not much else to say. You want to why that is? BECAUSE I NEVER PLAYED A METAL GEAR SOLID GAME. Yeah, that’s right. Ocelot is #1 on my list and I’ve never even played a game that he is. But that just shows how awesome he is in. Welcome to ScrewAttack news, my newest weekly video series. It takes news from both the Screwattack website and the Gaming World and makes it into one big news video. Well, not big. It's only 2:42. Hey g1s, your very own non-compelling falconpunch3 here with just something I wish to clear up. I really don’t think I should be the one addressing this, but since no one else has done so, I guess I should. There are some issues going on with blogging that I really wish to proclaim. These are simply minor flaws and suggestions for both newcomers and the moderators. The one thing has been bothering me is the very short posts in the blog section. These blogs are literally one-three sentences long and simply state a question. Here’s a perfectly good example: “Hey guyz. I luv Super Mario 64. Wat’s ur favorite video game?” (Note that was NOT in a real blog post) I have seen MANY of these, especially as of late. I do not HATE these people, and I do not particularly HATE the question. To prove it, I’ll use the quote, “There’s no such thing as a stupid question,” as an example. And to follow-up this quote, I’ll make-up one of my own, “A question asked in the wrong place and time is a stupid question.” For example, say I was in Brazil and I asked one of the people living there: “So, what do you think of America’s economy?” They would have no answer for the question for two reasons: 1. Because they don’t know because they don’t live in America! 2. They speak mainly Portuguese and chances are that they wouldn’t understand me. Now, if I asked someone in American, say Stuttering Craig, “So, what do you think of America’s economy?”, he might respond with one of three answers: 1. “I think America has a terrible economy.” 2. “I think American has a great economy.” 3. I don’t f***** know! You drove all the way to Texas just to ask a video game expert about America’s economy? Get the hell outta here! Chances are it’d be the third one. However, maybe by asking just any normal person on the streets of Texas this question I would get answers 1 or 2. My point being that blogs belong in the BLOG SECTION, and questions belong in the FORUMS. Now I know what you’re thinking: “WHAAT?!?! Screwattack has a FORUM?!?1?11?!!” Yes, they indeed do. That’s where all the things you want answers for go. Here’s just a little list for what I believe should go where: BLOG SECTION: -Game Reviews -Rants -Blog Series -Top 10/25/100 Lists FORUMS: -Questions -Things you want someone’s opinion on On the forums, things can last forever and be revived easily. One comment on an old topic and like magic it sparks back to life and becomes popular again. It doesn’t work that way with blogs. Good blogs take a long time and lot of effort to write. Once a blog goes down the “Recent Blog Posts” Section, it’s gone. FOREVER…Well, not forever, but chances are it will not be Top Posted nor get commented on ever again. My point is by asking things that belong on the Forum that belong in the Blog Section, you are pushing a bunch of good blogs down. People’s time on them would be wasted. You could spend a year writing a blog and it could be the greatest blog of all time, yet you still might not get a Top Post! Unfair? Yes. Moderators fault? No. For the newcomers, I find it a completely honest mistake that you would do this. So simply, just re-post it on the forum. And yes, you actually can delete a blog! If you put a blog up, and think you did something wrong with it or you should’ve put in on the forum, simply delete it and bring another blog back up and give it another chance. And for the moderators: I completely understand how you feel of not wanting to be mean to others, and I’d probably do the same as you are doing and just go along with it. But maybe Personal Messaging (PMing) the person, if you haven’t already been doing so, about what they did wrong and giving a suggestion of what to do. To all those who this does not affect whatsoever: Thanks for reading this. Here’s a N64, a PS3, and a cookie. Have fun with them. Mega Man 10 Robot Masters

Hey g1s. I should finish the Top 10 Video Game Characters soon. In the mean time, I had this in store for quite some time...Well, actually only a couple of months. Wanting to test my spriting skills, I decided to try to make Robot Masters for a Mega Man game. This was the result: ROCKETMAN Designed to help explore other planets. WOLFMAN Designed to allow people to talk to animals. SWINGMAN Designed to act as an instructor for baseball players. SUMOMAN Designed to give Americans a chance in Sumo competitions. STRETCHMAN Designed to reach/get to hard-to-reach places. NINJAMAN Designed to infiltrate various places without notice as a future piece of military technology. GENERALMAN Designed to act as the ultimate army general to help our military. CHEFMAN Designed to work in soup kitchens to make food for the homeless. Yeah, these were pretty corny, lol. But it did take a long time to make them. I didn't steal these whatsoever. I just looked at a Robot Master from a Mega Man game, took its general concept, and created eight original Robot Masters. If you would actually like to use any of these sprites for say a sprite game/comic/movie/etc., just shoot me a PM and I'll send you the original rips without the background, as long as I do receive credit for them in your sprite game/comic/movie/etc. Here's hoping to a Mega Man 10!...Which I highly doubt since Mega Man X was already made and X is the roman numeral for 10 so....yeah.
