Ok so if you don't know what I'm talking about I'm talking about the people who made:
The Scary Movie series
Not another teen movie
Date movie etc.
These "Spoof" movies to me have just become a meh series of films. You know what I mean the 12A (PG13) film which is a flim whcih has a couple of good jokes and all the others are just meh, a flim which is a seven, mediocore, one you could forget about easily.
Anyway
So I don't know if you have seen the commercial for the latest disaster movie, but it shows some guy says Amy Winehouse and then it cuts to a "Amy Winehouse" who has fangs and says something that I can't understand and gargles and then it cuts to DISASTER MOVIE. "Amazing" pardon my sarcasim.
I don't know what it is the other thing is that unlike all of the other spoof films they kept to their title "Scary movie" was mostly about horrors. "Date movie" was about romance comedys.
So you'd think that disaster movie would be about disaster movies (obviously) but in the trailer it show hardly any disaster movie.

Yeah we discussed this in my Cultural Studies class (Film Study). We discussed how shitty these movies were EXCEPT for the originals Scary Movie and Not Another Teen Movie. They were the pioneers and they had the right levels of stupid, shock, and comedy. Now that there are probably 15 of these movies the writers are pretty much begging for you to laugh. These directors are only in it for teh M00L4h.
I'm really starting to get sick of all these spoof movies. Its the same lame thing over and over again. The first 2 scary movies were funny but after that these movies just got out of control. Have you really run out of any more good ideas.or is the only original idea left to spoof everything?

These movies used to be good, such as scary movie and not another teen movie, but somewhere they decided that spoof meant doing an exaggerated and overall not funny version of the original material. It's more or less 2 hours of them going, "Remember when that happened? Yeah, that was funny." It works in a short conversation with friends every now again, but is not funny enough to base a movie around. Please, stop these spoof movies. They suck balls.

Judging by the trailer, "Disaster Movie" should just be called "Recent Movie". Seriously, this series isn't even about spoofs, it's just about cramming as many random pop culture references in as possible.
Now, Space Balls, Top Secret, Wayne's World, the Naked Gun trilogy... THOSE were the real spoof movies. And why? Because they had actual stories, jokes, and talented actors.

and was disgusting, not another teen movie was always my favourite (because of tiffani amber thiessen)
scary movie started out good but by the 4th one was kind of lame...
