So, Tom and I was working today, getting ready for the Spore launch and processing all the trades that had been going on today. We had gotten enough reserves and subs for the day and we were just chilling, talking about computer specs when the phone rings. I picked it up.
"Hi, thank you for calling Gamesmop, we buy and sell used games, this is KS, how can I help you?"
"Uh, I was wondering if you were selling those Xbox skins that you can put on the system?"
"Uh..."
First of all, the Xbox was almost completely phased out at pretty much all the stores, so it was kinda strange to hear customers wanting Xbox accessories. Not unheard off, but its pretty rare.
"Well, we don't really sell Xbox accessories anymore, so no, we don't have anymore Xbox skins."
"Oh, ok. And have you played LA Rush."
"Uh, no I can't say I have."
"Oh, ok, I'm just stuck at a crack house and I was bored. Thanks anyways."
"What?"
But the guy hung up. I looked at the phone, and held it up to my ear to make sure that he hung up. Then I put the headset back to the charge station.
"Who was that?" Tom asked.
"Some guy stuck at a crack house?"
Tom looked bewildered.
"Shouldn't the guy be calling the police then?"
I shrugged.
