You know whats Farking stupid! - Part 3

Random Time Scheduals

I used to work for Jewel Osco when i was in school and during the summers, i was a bagger/cart pusher for 2 years because i had to take a ton of absences due to school and stuff and i was late alot when traffic happened during the rides home from school. but thats not what im complaining about.

I recently came across an old piece of paper i wrote my hours down on and i remembered all the argueing i did to get them to reduce it, and my eventual fireing from that job.

They asked me to work from 6 - midnight on friday, and then told me to come in at 5 am - 11am on saturday, i argued this was rediculous and they wouldnt change it because all the other kids were on vacation, I would only get fucking 3 hours of sleep, it takes me half hour to get there and 1 hour to eat and get dressed in the morning, i told them it was unreasonable and i argued, they fired me and told me they would get someone else to do it.

Bullshit eh? I called the union, they did jack shit, seems all they do is syphon 15 - 20 dollars a week out of your paycheck then sit on their keesters and swim in pools of money, and only act when it can generate more money for them.

Anyone else have this problem?

Not bad

That's pretty bad but is considered casual compared to what the Best Buy people are forced to endure. Like being told they can't go home until a truck is unloaded or they will be fired and so they earn overtime hours unloading said truck. The next day they are yelled at by a manager for working extra hours which means the company had to pay more and also threatening to fire them. That too is peanuts compared to their other crimes against employees.

The UK supermarket Tesco

The UK supermarket Tesco constantly breaks employee contracts. They changed my sisters schedule as she's asked, she turned up on time and was yelled at for being late. The manager just tells people what they want to hear at that place.

i had a problem at my last job

i was working at one of the grocery stores here called superstore(or after the BS i dealt with there i call it stupid store) it was my first job so i was kind of excited, even though it was just stocking the shelves throughout the night. I was there for 3 weeks, they fired me saying i didn't meet their expectations. i got another job (the one i'm currently at) doing that exact same thing over night, and i just got past the 2 year marker working there.

just makes you wonder what kind of expectations they had at that other store huh?

My last job sucked too

I was working for a web design company in the city of my university. I was working with a free schedule (not bad) but the paying was afwul! I was working 20 hours per week and i got paied like 50 dollars!
While each website I developed was worth around 600-1000 dollars.
I left without arguing, and they still want me to get back! I asked them for more money and said "we'll talk about it" without giving me any straight answers.
Fu_k the bosses!
