Keep in mind the guys that make it all happen are very busy keeping this site awesome, so their scores are low for a good reason. I'm not here to brag, but I thought it was cool to see how far everyone has come since the relaunch of the site.
I recently unlocked the "Month of Awesomness" achievement for a whopping 524 points! I was so surprised it gave me so many points! My sudden rise in points inspired to me to check the leaderboards. It was then that I discovered I ranked #10 on the entire site. I may be #10, but out of how many?
Well, the leaderboard displays 30 g1s per page and there is 118 pages. However, 1 page does NOT have any g1s listed on it. So 30 displayed g1s on a single page times 117 pages of registered g1s = 3,510 g1s on ScrewAttack.com!
I can't believe there's 3,510 g1s on ScrewAttack.com. In conclusion, I rank #10 out of 3,510 g1s with a total of 1,134 points. Whoa. So, what about the ScrewAttack staff?

I hope this isn't sacrligious, but I have more fun reading and watching blogs here on SA, rather than looking at new content... well, it's close anyway.
A lot of g1s don't seem to be that active. I mean if we have 3510 fellow g1s, why don't they chime in more often. I've never seen anything get 500 comments, yet alone 3510. There are about 20-30 g1 blogs that I'm a huge fan of and maybe 2 that I hate. The only reason for that is, only a handfull of us (out of 3510)seem to want to create and contribute to the site. Just an observation.

There's nothing wrong with that. As much as I like Hard News and the random videos the SA staff shoots (like Metal Gear Ben lol) I like to see what other fellow g1s think about. It let's us know where we fit in as far as the gaming community goes. We get to see if we think alike by reading blogs.
I understand that some people make accounts just to be a g1 and visit the site to watch videos - nothing wrong with that. Of course I praise those who are very active members, but I do hope g1s stop flaming (remember what happened to the comments section on the last Unaware Steve video) and stop making negative blogs.
Like I said, this blog is a celebration of g1s and an interesting look at where the SA staff ranks on the leaderboards for those who are curious.
