Because of the Saturns RUSH

Because of the Saturns RUSH RELEASE date, the console lauched with only ONE game! Virtua Fighter II!

If you didn't like Virtua Fighter, you had no reason to buy a Saturn, which is why IT failed so quick.

As for the Dreamcast, yeah the lack of DVD playback killed it, but I'd say only 60%. I think the other 40% came into play when they figued out the Dreamcast could play burned games.

Infact the Saturn launched

Infact the Saturn launched with 3 games in the US, Virtua Fighter, Panzer Dragoon and Daytona USA. Other consoles have succeded with that amount of games at launch.

i hate sony

i just hate them. i like metal gear solid...........that's pretty much it. i swore never to buy a sony system since they put sega out of the console making buisness. i mean i'm a nintendo boy through and through, but sega is the only other company of systems i have besides nintedno. i have 6 nintendo systems and 3 sega systems and nothing else.

no spoiler alert needed. I

no spoiler alert needed. I mentioned the downfall of Sega and the Dreamcast!

I do like the Dreamcast more as well, and I will say why in Part 2. =)

Nice video..

The music makes me feel sad :(

I sold you out!!!!!!! *cries*

I just looked up at my PS2 and then thought about all the fun I had with my MegaDrive, then in my head i was shouting "I sold you out Sega, I sold you out!!!!!!! *cries*"

Oh and WE WANT PART TWO!

"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I can assure them it is much more serious than that."

Dreamcast FTW!

I fucking loved that thing.

Dreamcast = win

Yuikes... I almost... cried at the intro. Dreamcast was such a great system. Even though I would rate PS2 as a better one, Dreamcast is still made out of pure awesomeness.

And yeah, congrats for another youtube subscriber.

VERY impresive,entertaining.....good job!

Cant wait for the next part.

I have to say, after

I have to say, after watching this video, I went onto YouTube and watched the rest. Very well done. I'm looking forward to the next part.

In the name of the 360[son], the NES[father], and the holy Dreamcast[spirit].
Amen.

haha, but wouldn't the wii

haha, but wouldn't the wii be the son of the NES?

Happy DC Owner!!!

I received it as a Christmas gift 4 years ago. I started collecting consoles and my mom found a deal at GameCrazy where they had found some packaged Dreamcasts and games in the back room. They sold it to her along with 10 games, a VMU, and additional controller all in there original unopened packaging for only $30 bucks. I still play it to this day. DC is my favorite console of all time.

Super Awesome.

I'm thinking a certain gaming historian I know should be offered a job at a certain video game media website I know. Said gaming historians look back at the dream cast was a much better video then a certain art in gaming video posted on the same day.

Great

I like these. Keep on doing em' dude.

Very professional

The quality of the videos is what surprises me the most. They are very well researched and executed, it could pass for something shown on tv if a few things were tweaked

Nice

Really great. I'm a big Dreamcast fan and your video taught me some new stuff and made me appreciate it even more.
