Letter A

There is many different variations of “A”, and a can stand for many different things. And since I have no reason to be original I’m going to make a stand for a game!

This one was rather hard; I was torn between Aladdin and Altered Beast! In one game I can either be an Arabian thief or I can be a Man-Wolf and Dragon. However I’m finding myself siding with Aladdin!

NO! Not the master system one.

I'm told by my peers the SNES version is much better but I only have the Sega Gen. version.

The levels are spectacular, taking Aladdin in a platforming world is insanely fun! You go through the desert, the village and you even have to escape The Cave of Wonders!

Overall, this game was rather easy. There was only one problem…

I wasted so many lives on that one jump! To get to that floating rock and let the rolling rock fall into the lava you need to run to the very last bit of the edge. The problem I had was that the screen was moving so fast that I didn’t the ledge because it was somewhat camouflaged by the rocks red shade. So I kept jumping too early.

So I die and begin at the start of the level and I get to that jump and in that 1 and a half minutes I spent getting to that jump I die! The first time I was playing I had about 4 continues and they were all lost on one jump! The second time I went through playing I lost the 8 continues I stalked up! On my third try I finally got it! By the end of the level I had at least 90 gems so I bought 9 continues on the genie level and I beat the game!

But the ending Jafar boss battle was a bit of a let down. You had to simply throw you primary weapon (apples!) at the snake! But the battle only took me about 7 tries and I had 9 lives stalked up.
