Ghostbusters; The Video Game - First Impressions (Wii Version)

Hey fellow g1's. I thought I'd share some of my first impressions on the Wii version of the new Ghostbusters game which comes out in a couple days.
You'll see the game LOOKS a lot different, but plays around the same as the 360/PS3 version.
Disclaimer: First Impressions is not meant as a rip off of Out of the Box, but rather a salute to the awesome Screwattack show. Also any spoilers are purely accidental.

I own both a Wii and a PS3 and i'm thinking about getting this game. I'm not really too fussed on the graphics so in terms of gameplay, which system would be best to buy it for.

Well, the Wii controls work really well in this game. The PS3 probably has a better multiplayer system though. Also, I'm not sure if there will be any DLC for this game, but if there is, the Wii version won't get it.
I think the only thing the Wii version has over the PS3/360 version is the controls. Although a controler might work fine, the Wii remote and the fact that you can POINT at what you want to shoot at, just make you feel like you're wearing a proton pack that much more.

The gameplay might be different between the PS3 and Wii because of the controls; but the Wii version sets itself apart due to its style. You can tell that this game isn’t some watered down version of the more technically powerful PS3/Xbox 360 game. I’m really on the fence between my preference of the Wii version’s style and the PS3. Where the Wii really excels is with its animations which during in-game cut scenes are smoother and while animated look better than the more realistic style.

The didn't go all out with the cartoony graphics and model it after "The Real Ghostbusters".

I'm glad that they didn't half-assed the Wii version unlike so many other multi-platform games...
Personally, I love the decision to go with more of a cartoon-ish look for the characters
...brings me back to the days of watching The REAL Ghostbusters on saturday mornings...
