I can't believe it! After all these years...the petition worked! If you don't know what I'm talking about, then just find my blog about Splatterhouse in my previous blogs. The game was just pure f*ckin' insanity!
I predict this game to be like an insane mix of the chracter controls of The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction with more of a linear gameplay experience similar to Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening feel to it. Except this game is going to have the same frightening character designs and vomit-inducing scenes of ultraviolence.
If you don't know what it's like to play Splatterhouse and you want to psyche yourself up for this sweet old school remake, then watch these:

With that info...fuck...the story...the story!!! The game is superb, but after 3, how does the Terror Mask return?! It was destroyed for good! But with that...oh god...it's got everything that marks Splatterhouse in it...pushed even higher with today's technology, but not enough! Please vids so we can scream in orgasm!!! All I know, we must defend it because of our well known enemy Jack Thompson will fight Splatterhouse again.

Holy CRAP ON A STICK that looks dope. I just hope, HOPE TO JEEBUS, that it plays and feels as good as it looks. I would hate to see a game be so kick ass, and ruined by gameplay and , dun dun duuuun, Bad camera work.

It looks pretty promising...I just hope they make it a 2.5-D sidescroller and not a 3-D beat-'em-up...lots of games have done the latter, and most of them were terrible. >_<

I am very excited about this! The screens look great and the fight scenes look brutal. I should read more into this in the new EGM issue... Splatterhouse was a great series and I hope they can pull it off in 3D.

Been a fan of Splatterhouse since i played the original in the arcade. I didn't get a chance to play Splatterhouse 3 until recently, which i loved the new play style, if its a 3d take on that, then im definitely buying this game.

i am pretty speechless now, it just looks good, why didnt they reveal this? i mean only in 1 mag. are they afraid to show it, maybe people who never seen splatterhouse might just think "ohh its manhunt". or are they afraid jack thompson will come after them.
well, nevermind, i am just so psyched over this game now. that i can't think strait.

I already got that EGM issue from my subscription and the game does look pretty damn awsome, and I also recently bought splatterhouse 2 for the Genesis without knowing a new game is coming so this is pretty cool.
