games that work on vista(old games)here is the list:
Age of Mythology:this game work but you need to buy the new verson of the disc so only for the hardcore.
battlefield 2:works but need to update punkmaster and make it an administer.
black and white:works and you don't need to do enything just put it in and play.
Command & Conquer Red Alert 2:works and you just need the new patch to play.
Counter-Strike Source:works but can crash some times.
fallout 2:works but you may still be on fallout 3 to play 2.
i could only play and rate the games that i have so hoped you liked it(or not)and there are alot more games that work on vista but i could only rate the games i had so good Bye.

I have all these games and they worked without any effort or additional thinking except for AOM which i havent tried o_O

Most games will work with vista if you find the loopholes. games like half life and Medal of honor will work fine etc etc, for older school games eg: DOS or anything 95ish
Dosbox is a good program to get a hold of if you want to play some old classics.
