Me...in a nut shell

Ah...my first blog. Well, let me start by saying who I am. The names Sam, I’m 25, Canadian, and started gaming with the good old Nintendo grey box with the oldy, but goody, Dragon Warrior. I’m not a ‘hardcore’ gamer. Not because I haven’t played from lots of consoles with many games, beaten a bunch, or more often gotten to near the end of a game and halted the finish because I wanted to get everything... But because my childhood consisted of rental, after rental, after rental. If a game was great I’d ask my parents to rent it again, and maybe they’d buy it for me for Christmas or my birthday or something. And who here can’t understand where I’m coming from?

Anyways, I work for a living as an electrician, have a fiancé, been in the Canadian Military for a tour and time, and love gaming. I usually really think through my posts, and may seem long winded...but that’s because I usually think really hard about what I want to write, and want it to be worth the trouble.

I’m a devils advocate, and like to see what the person who stands out says, and try to understand there point. I like the intelligent response, and think of everything else as a waste of time. Especially if its quick, not well thought through, positive feedback for the sake of positive feedback...because that looks like sucking up to me.

I like First Person shooters (Duke Nukem style), RPG’s (Especially turn based, Chrono Triggers always been my favorite game), Simulators (Monster Rancher 2 and 4 all the way), Platformers and a slew of other styles of games. Me thinks I will talk about some down the road...ones that truly touched my heart (as games you love can and do)...or perhaps some other nostalgia that I’d like people to remember or know about.

But anyways, that’s me in a nut shell. If you have any questions or comments, please write. I’ll answer back as honestly as I can...but please keep it game oriented.

Hey there, welcome to Screw

Hey there, welcome to Screw Attack. I'm a Canadian too, there's actually quite a few Canadians on here.
This doesn't really have any purpose, but id like to point out that my grandpa was an electrician and also served in the military. I don't think he played video games though, he was more into cards.
Any way, nice to meet you, have fun at Screw Attack!

Looks like I'm playing with my Wii alone again tonight.

Thanks
