When the Wii was released everyone got caught up in the idea of using the Wiimote as a lightsaber and now with The Force Unleashed making its way to home consoles on Tuesday it's finally a reality. g1 Mandalorian30 is here to take it to a whole 'notha level with his latest short film.

Actually, while the lightsaber 3 basic colors were the ones used, each controller (pick up any of the 3's 1st party controller) has a light on it that's either blue (Wii), red (since PS1's analog through to PS3), or green (which actually first appeared as just a green logo, but now a light on the 360's controller) during standard play. If they didn't base if off the controllers, they'd have to base it on the logo, in which case Wii and PS3 would have switched as Sony's logo is blue, and Nintendo's is red. They probably just combined the two elements (the controller and Star Wars) because they thought it would be cool...because, if they didn't, how else could you explain the color choice? Also, if they're really Star Wars fanboys...they no red is only influenced by a simple crystal that even some of the Jedi Knights use, and vis versa with the blue, green, purple, and yellow ones (just a little Star Wars trivia for you).

Or maybe it's just because Yoda is in the 360 Version of Soulcalibur IV, while Darth Vader is in the PS3 version. And then they used the left over color (blue) on the Wii Remote.

Yheir was a fan boy, 45 minutes after the video ends he kills both the 360 fanboy and the wii fanboy, but it was kinda pointless cause by the time he got the whole thing to run Nintendo and Microsoft had already released new systems and no one care about the 360 and wii fanboys anymore... so their HA! PS3 fanboys!

I miss Toy R Us, the one near my house just closed down a few months back. That place gave me a crapton of memories (the first time I tried the Nintendo 64, "The R Zone" a special section where I you get to play time-limited full versions of a game for each console, and it was where I got Sonic R on the luckyest day of all, St. Patrick's Day). That was the only place I shopped for my gaming needs before I found out Funcoland [before it became GameStop].

Zelda board game

Great vids!

When I was little I made a Zelda board game myself.
It comprised of a cardboard board with a drawing of a dungeon room, cardboard pieces which represent monsters, blocks, items etc and another cardboard board which represents events, I think.
I hadn't played it much but I was proud of it.:)
I have almost forgotten about this game but the video reminded me of it.

I can tell you from experience, long tedious hours of frame by frame experience, that good lightsaber effects are not worth it for quick comedy vids.

I thought they were going to do the dual saber for the ps3 controller, lol. I wouldn't take the colours seriously after all, Wii does glow blue and 360 glows green anyway.
