What is ScrewAttack?

Pretty much we're here to make you look good. We started back in February of 2006 when we realized that the video game industry forgot it was supposed to be about fun. We then realized there are a lot of websites and companies that have forgot this. LAME. Simply put, our goal is to produce the best, most entertaining content in the world for gamers and feature your content while doing so. We know there's a lot of talented people out there looking for a platform for their stuff to be seen. We are that place... and we have an awesome community to boot! Once you're here you're a part of the family.

How long has ScrewAttack been around?

ScrewAttack officially launched February 15th, 2006. In internet age that's like.... 92 years old.

Officially, how is ScrewAttack spelled?Capital "S", capital "A", one word.  ScrewAttack.  Not Screwattack or Screw Attack or screwAttack or screwa.... whatever you get the point.

What the hell is a g1?

In short: it's you. A g1 is an active member of our community member who comes to ScrewAttack everyday, uploads their videos, images, files, comments and is active in what we do here at ScrewAttack. We built this entire site around you so obviously our g1s are the lynch pin of ScrewAttack.

Can I send you something? / Can I donate games to ScrewAttack?

Sure! We love all things gaming. If you're moving, don't play something or just want us to have it you can send it to the address below. You can bet your ass that it will have a good home to take care of it. Just remember, once you send it to us it's ours now and you can't have it back:

How wide should my signature be?
We realize that some of you want to try to stick out by having ridiculously huge signatures. That's lame. Keep them small.

Do you ship internationally?
You bet your ass. ScrewAttackStore.com ships anywhere and everywhere on God's green earth. If you are alive we will get you what you ordered.

How can I get my videos, images, games, files, blogs, etc etc etc featured?
We figure that if we like it chances are everyone else will too. Original ideas are our passion so we definitely encourage you to not be afraid to try anything new. We have eyes and ears everywhere, watching and seeing everything that comes on ScrewAttack. If you've made it we've seen it.

How can I add users to my blog/show?
My Shows -> Edit Users:
1. Fill in the user's alias
2. Click on the "Add User to Show" button
3. Enter name of the g1 you want added to your show and what level of contribution you want them to have.
4. Click Add
5. That was easy!

What kind of equipment do you guys use?
ScrewAttack currently shoots with Panasonic DVX 100B cameras. While a nice camera is good, lighting is way more important. Proper lighting can make a regular camera look awesome.

Can I be a forum mod?
No. OK maybe. You'll need to take that up with our super admins Rhi and Fox. They are the keepers of all things forum mod.
