Trying the "Windows 7 Whopper"... IN AMERICA!!!
By ZIMdudeAlchemist on December 11, 2009, 2:51 am

Been quite a while since I blogged, so I want to start off my first one since the launch of Version 4 with a written response to CheapyD's Windows 7 Whopper video.
When I first saw this video, I was a bit amazed to see that Burger King would promote Microsoft's new operating system by having a Whopper with [of course] 7 patties and having it appropriately named the "Windows 7 Whopper".

Seeing Cheapy and Kev chow down on this monolith of a Whopper (although, there are some larger burgers out somewhere else) made me want to try it out, but unfortunately for me, it's only available in Japan. Seeing that Microsoft is a domestic company, you would think they try and have the offer here in the U.S., but then again, there's that whole "Health Regulation" crap. I guess marketing it in the States is out of the question.
Then one day, during a conversation with my friend, Robert, I showed him the video and was surprised with the burger. He noticed that I left a comment on the CheapyD video about how I would make my own Windows 7 Whopper ("order 2 Triple Whoppers and 1 regular one and put all the patties together in one"), so we decided to go to Burger King the next day to try and special order one (I was planning on coming over to his place that day anyways).
So today, I came over to his house, returned his Wii that I've been borrowing for 2+ months, watched some videos on ScrewAttack and That Guy With The Glasses, and then we made our trip to a nearby Burger King. He went on ahead to order in the drive-thru while I went inside the restaurant to order To Go. So it was my turn to order, I asked the cashier about my "special order" [while giving me a confused look], and said that they can't do it. So I did the next best thing and ordered two Triple Whoppers and a single Whopper (with a value meal) and the total came around $17.50. Though the price makes this dare now sound stupid, at least I'm glad that I'll be trying out this monster Whopper that would guarantee me a big "foodgasm" after devouring it.
So right when we returned to his pad, I went straight to the computer, set all Whoppers down and started building my Whopper and VOILA!!!

As soon as the episode was finished, I had wished it would be the same with my burger, only to have eaten half of it. It was also starting to slip as I continued to eat, so I had to grab an extra set of buns to keep from doing so and after an approximate 20 bites, I finished my burger. My friend was staring at me in awe, having eaten an entire 7 patty burger in one sitting. So for fun, we went and check the BK Nutritional Facts online to tally up how much calories, fat, protein, etc. I've eaten and here are the results:
_________________________________________________
Whopper w/ cheese and everything but onions: 670 cal.
Tripple Whopper w/o onions, mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomato: 1140 cal.
Tripple Whopper, nothing but patties: 720 cal.
Making a Grand Total of 2620 cal., which is almost more than the recommended daily value.
Nutritional Facts:
178g Fat / 67g Saturated Fat / 7.5g Trans Fat / 495mg Cholesterol
99g Carbs / 20g Sugar / 161g Protein / 2830mg Sodium

DAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNNNN!
Looks like this spells "Heart Clogger"! Luckily, nothing has happened to me thus far after eating it (just a couple of restroom trips, that's all). Like Craig, I love Man Vs. Food, and I would imagine myself in that show eating a hundred plates of Fish and Chips, but for a moment, it felt like I was living that fantasy when I was eating that Whopper. Sure, it sounds dumb to compare myself to Adam Richman, and it wouldn't be that tough for him to have one, but I felt like I accomplished something. This is definitely something that I'll never do again, but at least I can remember by the next time I munch on a burger for the rest of my life.
