The Problem with video game movies, is something quite simple. See the problem isn't with the director, the script, the actors or the general company doing the movie.
The problem is with the viewer. In simple terms... YOU.

See people generally take the game and play it to death, learning the entire story, characters, events, etc. and they expect that the movie is going to be the exact same thing. Well, movies generally last for a max of 3 and a half hours. while a game takes nearly 8 hours. they cannot take a complete story with action into the movie.

Today is September 19th, which is International Talk like a Pirate day.
It doesn't matter if your a ninja (like I am), it's all in good fun.

Probably the most interesting thing I've seen from the Onion News (besides from their movie which was great) World of World of Warcraft is a fake game where you play a character playing World of Warcraft. I have a feeling though that people would still play this, even though it would be just crap.

So as people might know, there is a SAW video game coming out for a Halloween release next year (if things go right) now I'm kind of currious.

first lets start with what we know
Saw is one violent movie, yet the story and plot are set up extreamly well. They are great movies though have been getting gory over the years, still delivers an amazing message to it's viewers to not take your life for granted and that there is always a lesson in everything you do. it has spawned 4 movies (5th this fall) with the 3rd one being the worst of the bunch.

This came up in a forum today, and after I wrote the reply below, I though that, while this is good for a forum post it should be good in a blog. Personally this subjects pisses me off,and I know that it does for a lot of people. Anyways this is my view of RE5, and almost all video game controversy.

I'm in a collage in New Brunswick Canada (small province in the Atlantic regions) and I'm taking Game design. That's right, someday I'm going to be the poor unlucky bastard that will make your games someday, but before that, I have to complete my course.

Today I got an Assignment from Hell.
The class is Ethics, an easy discussion class where we talk about the rights and wrongs of the work place, with a teacher who I think was pissed off at the fact we did not find Porn offensive. So he came up with this problem.
