No way man. Those carousel's are death traps for the bigger folks like myself and Jose. You can get on, sure....but getting off means in no uncertain terms that you could lose a toe or other assorted limb. Jose needs his toes man. Think of the toes!

That would be so sweet. One day, I'd like to open up an arcade in my hometown (there USED to be one there) that has many of the good old school games and that DON'T run on those fucking token things.

I've played both.. and the Snes version really is only the second best. In the arcade, there is a whole level where you shoot Indians, and it's totally awesome! (not the shooting Indians part, the level itself.) But in the Snes version, the whole level is CUT OUT!! I guess people were "offended" by the arcade version so much, they had to cut a level. Instead, we get some botched together quickly level that's not so interesting. But people didn't seem to get that IT'S A WESTERN!! Cowboys and Indians are like a mandatory thing, there is nothing offensive about it. And the fact they try to kill you the moment you come on screen doesn't help their cause much either.

That's classic arcade gaming at its best. Incidentally, I remember riding a carousel like that at a McDonald's in the 1980s when I was about 3 or 4 years old. Poor Ben and Nick. Also, does anyone else here remember "Cowboys of Moo Mesa" for arcade? It starred four cows in the wild west shooting other cows. It was pretty weird but fun.

This cabinet arcade is at the laundry place right down the street. The sucky part is the extraordinary urge to stop being responsible and use all of my quarters for SR! Screw clean clothes when you can play Sunset Riders.I wonder if those Vietnamese people will sell my the coin-op for $100....

I love this game to death. There's an arcade Sunset riders at a pizza place in town, I adore playing that game. I have a hard time with the whip boss though >.>.
