I was smiling and laughing throughout the whole video.

Ok, I'm sure they included the beginner mode because they decided on not having a "no fail" mode and no saves, but the beginner's mode is so easy you can't possibly learn to play on it. What's the point in that? If you could save one another with star power, the better players could help the weaker ones. Isn't that the point of co-op? Any way, great video, its nice to see you'll all make asses of yourselves for your viewers benefit. LMAO!

They're not getting less important, it was just a little difficult to answer the questions while we were trying to switch things around. We tried our best to plan for them (we started taking q's early and had a list ready to go as we aired), but because of last week's set-up, it didn't work as well.
Normally on Out of the Box, we tend to answer around 10-15 or so questions per game. That's quite a bit considering each show runs for about 30-45 minutes.
We had full intentions of doing "Question of the Week," and answering as normal, but as we were doing the show, it became rather clear that that just wasn't going to happen.

This game too me feels like a 1 player game with 4 controllers. One shared Rock meter and Star Power bar. Its almost impossible to see a guitar solo till you're a few seconds into it, and the same when it ends. The slider bar is just too awkward to use but since solos have no hammer ons if you don't use it you fail hard. The game just isn't the rock band killer.

O my God. The ScrewAttack crew are so terrible at this game. They said they tested it earlier but I don't see any spectacular or even a decent performance in Guitar Hero: World Tour. How could you screw up on a beginner settings? Honestly. But despite the awfulness, this episode makes a great and entertaining video to watch. Keep rocking (Or die tryin')!

One of the biggest complaints about this game, at least for us, was the ability to calibrate the TV. We must have tried to calibrate a dozen times and still couldn't get the settings right (hence the testing it out before the show). The audio/visual delay never got quite worked out so the synching was way off...combined with the fact that we really couldn't hear the TV. So, yeah, we really really sucked.

yeah and it's also more fun to play paintball than halo but this is what videogames can offer and some of us can actually can see it like a great group experience
I couldn't enjoy GH: WT at my friends since when we opened it guess what. The freaking drums didn't respond at all! Nice to see that the drums are awesome when working.

I really like the track selection for this game, but I still need to recover from expenses from buying fallout 3 special edition, so it will be a while before I get it, and Corey is right, the synchro in the guitar hero series always gives trouble with the wide screen tvs, thats the thing that I like better from rock band, you just select the type of tv and the synch gives no trouble.
I know you guys used the xbox version of the game, what I wanted to ask is this whole calibration thing exclusive to the 360 or PS3 because the way I understand it is that by using the wii remotes the instruments become synced as soon as u plug them in a la guitar hero 3, if anyone knows different let me know as the game isn't released in Australia til the 12th.
Easily the most hilarious Out of the Box yet. And Craig, don't ever be the mic while singing "Beat It". MJ's voice and your voice do not mix AT ALL. XD
