I've seen his documentary on YouTube. It's really inspiring for anyone who wants to get into film making. Nice tune throughout the vid by the way

That was a really neat video interview with James (AKA The Nerd); it's nice to see that he's such a calm, mellow guy in real life. I respect him as a fellow artist and gamer alike. His coup de grace however, lies in his ability to portray such strong humility; a very admirable, essential and rare quality barely seen in today's world, especially within the art and online communities.

lol people who think he would act the same in real life are stupid, im sorry they just are.
its like when i hear about people thinking characters from soaps (UK people will know what i mean if US people dont) are actually like that and thier lives are being filmed for TV.

anyway good to see abit of james rather than The Nerd.

I met James at the IMOG. He's one of the most nicest, respectable people I've ever met. His ability to transform into an angry cursing machine is nothing short of amazing. He loves his fans, and is passionate about what he does. I think it's safe to say he has succeeded at life.

He's just a nice guy, very creative. I hope he gets far with his filmaking skills, it would be so cool to see a documentary or a film in the mainstream media and say: "You know, that guy used to do a pretty cool series on the 'net a few years ago..."

Oh, and if somebody can reach him or if he reads these comments at all, tell him that he has a lot of fans here in Chile (southamerica)

When it comes right down to it, AVGN is just a character. And from what I've seen most people who do comedy or anything funny are ususally shy in nature but they feel they can really let loose when doing what they do. I think the same holds true here.

Great interview with the nerd, and it's the first time I ever seen him not angry.

james seem like a nice guy and he has to save up his anger for the nerd videos if you like the rocky movies you should chexk out his awesome rocky documentary on cinemassacre its brilliant

that is one cool guy all his work is great. rocky jumped a park bench is so good.

What most people don't seem to realize is that, when he's doing his AVGN videos, he's ACTING. All the anger he does is just acting, but the games he reviews really do suck; he's just not that flipping mental in real life.

James is great, I'm a big fan of his Youtube channel. His 'You Know What's B.S' is my favorite, too bad they don't come out often. Also, his film 'Rocky Jumped a Park Bench' was really interesting and thought out, props to him for that one. :)

Those are my 2 favorites characters in Screwattack in ONE video! Great interview! Destin is always awesome and James he's just the same guy as me! We almost had the same life! I just wish i could meet him someday, if he came to CANADA one day *sigh*

I would of liked to have a longer interview, since James seems such a great an interesting person. But it was good to see a short one anyway.

I spoke to him for 7 minutes when he came to Digital Press.

At last people are seeing the real James who is a talented filmmaker and person who you would want as a best friend. The fact that his Nerd character is the polar opposite of his real personality makes the Nerd that much entertaining for those of us who know him!

It's a clone. A genetically altered clone made for interviews and such so they could have an mellow conversation with it. The real one is kept locked away in a galaxy far far away. lol!

It's ok dude, no need to apoligize at all. From the very beginning I already knew that u r not that always-nerd-and-angry-all-the-time guy, but I truly am fans of ur works. My favorite AVGN videos is when u were reviewing Mario Bros 3.
