Today we discover a possible expansion for Spore leaked by Gamestop, some interesting games that will be shown from Microsoft at the Tokyo Game Show, and Mega Man 9 gets some downloadable content today.
No kidding on the up real early, but then again it was short and had no real big news, I mean the spore expansion is a big deal but then again EA and Maxis always release like 20 expansions to each God Mode game they come out with... oh well maybe tomorrow we will hear about the Sims 3 expansion and find out someone was shocked to hear that they have plans to release one in the first place.
I also love that series, I've played all the ones that have been released here, can't wait for the PSP remake, and the 360 version looks awesome. The graphics on it are some of the best I've seen in an RPG. Time to grow that backlog...

Well, how about that with the Star Ocean. I really enjoyed the orignal Star Ocean (hey Baaaarney)...but I didn't really enjoy the Star Ocean on Playstation 2. The issues I had was that there was a major glitch in my copy (which fucked my many houred game by crashing it), the abilities you could buy kinda felt stale in comparison to the original and the characters seemed a little wishy washy. Neither did I care for the achievments which seemingly did nothing. I'm interested to know what they intend to do with the new Star Ocean in regards to these issues and what kind of battle system they will use. If you could Destin, please keep us updated on the game when things come down the pipe.
As far as Spore...all I can say is that I anticipated this game since I heard about it a few years back...got the expansion version that cost more, and didn't feel it was worth the money (for the expansion I mean, I found the game was worth the money). Due to this 'out of the gate' cash cow, I think I'll wait to see the reviews on the expansion before I buck the horse.

I don't believe Capcom meant for the Protoman download to add challenge. They simply wanted to give us something we've wanted since we met Protoman. Although they couldn't just give us a smart bomb, there has to be equal cons to Protoman's pros. Still its cool. Like when we first got to control Virgil in DMC3. Alright Capcom.
There seems to be a small mistake in your script Destin since the newssite(which you linkedt the news from) which is quoting the games list from, actually is a dutch site. Well sure german and dutch looks quite similiar and I as a german can actually read what they say there to some degree (dutch looks like a really bad written verion of german X>)
