I love that Chrono Trigger is coming back however, I would have rather played the resurrection version of it then on the DS. And for those of you who don't know what i'm talking about. Take a look at this link.
Is sqaure-enix testing the water of the Chrono franchise to see how it would sell? If so I am heavily going to encourage all people I know to purchase this game. I WANT CHRONO BREAK!!!

But it was the truth... if one day I come and say sthg like "hey, the Dragon Quest series has anything in common with Dragon Ball? the characters look very much alike" feel free to call me a n00b too... I didn't ment that as an insult, it just was a pretty n00bish question... I mean... we do have wikipedia these days... next time you could at least do a quick search before exposing the n00bness... Why is it so hard to make a sequel or a prequel to Chrono Trigger? This game is that kind of classic that if you had a SNES and didn't played this game, you wasted you childhood.

The Chrono Bus may have some to upgrades like a new paint job and engine, but it still stopping at the same bus stop. Not that its a bad thing, but SE should produce a third game so the Chrono Bus can go to a new bus stop and pick up more new kids.

To me right now I'm ecstatic. I was born in '93 so what I was born into was Mega Man X, Mario, Link, Zero, Samus, Chrono, and even Ash as being the Heroes of Video Games. I'm a Nintendo guy through and through. So when I heard that Mega Man 9 is coming out for WiiWare, You bet your ass I'm gonna be excited. I never really knew what an NES was sadly. With the technology now there is emulators and all of this. I really wish that I was born sooner to have been able to play such awesome games, and now with the Chrono Series and Mega Man Series possibly sprouting a comeback, i'm speechless. Maybe good things don't always come to an end. For everyones sake lets hope I'm right.

I'm a big Mega Man fan so you can see why I'm excited. More specifically I'm an old school Mega Man fan. So after hearing that Mega Man 9 is coming for the WiiWare and that it's going to be in the retro style is going to be pretty bold for Capcom. But I ain't complaining. It's Mega Man just the way we like it: simple side-scrolling goodness with fun Robot Masters with fun and simple names. Although I did find it strange that one of these Robot "Masters" is going to be a female. Would that make her a Robot "Mistress"? Sounds right to me. And the name of her is Splash Woman. Not sure why not Splash Girl or something, but hey, it's Kenji Inafune's game. I just love to see how this game will play out. My best friend is a big time Mega Man fan so he's going to really like this news.

A chrono trigger port is great and all but I'd prefer if they made a sequel...and no chrono cross does not count as a sequel other than the name there was nothing at all similar about the two games at all...although Chrono cross was a half-way decent game

Yes, Chrono Cross counts as a sequel. Why do you think Kid made a cameo at the end of Chrono Trigger (PS1 version)? It has a strong connection between the 2 games. You saying that Chrono Cross does not count as a sequel is just like saying the MegaMan X series does not take place after the original series.

no chrono cross does NOT count as a sequel to for the same reason the various Megaman Battle network games dont count as sequels to the Megaman and Megaman X games because other than a couple cameos and similar title the games themselves play completely different and as far as I know the kid cameo is only in the ps1 version not the original but than again I'm pretty sure I haven't seen every ending of Chrono trigger yet.

Explain how Chrono Cross is not sequel? It may have be as good as Trigger, but it is still a sequel. MMBN takes place in a different universe than the original, x, and zero series while Chrono Cross takes place is the same universe (somewhat) as Trigger. What counts as a Trigger sequel then? Radical Dreamers? I would say thats a semi-sequel because it was more of a prototype for Cross. You can deny all you want but Cross is still a Trigger sequel.
