Why Is Your Game Awesome?

When you go to a big event like E3 there is really only one question on everyone's mind. I wanted to find that answer. I did... and a whole lot more.

MadWorld, Bayonetta and Sonic

It's no secret- Sonic has sucked lately. Recently there's been a little bit of buzz around Sonic's next title on the horizon and at E3 Ben had a chance to check out a demo. Unfortunately they didn't allow cameras inside but that won't stop the ultimate Sonic fanboy of filling you in on his thoughts.

In addition, the SEGA meeting room showed off some other games like the anticipated "MadWorld" and little known about "Bayonetta". With a truly salty lineup, it's no secret that SEGA was one of the hits of E3 2008.

Going for the Record!

This past week everyone was busy talking about E3 but the true event was taking place about 15 minutes away in Santa Monica. If you've seen the King of Kong you know the backstory between Steve Wiebe and Billy Mitchell- so do we have a new world record holder? You might be surprised at the results! A big thanks to our friends over at GirlGamer.com who hooked us up with the oh-so exclusive invite. Chick gamers are rad.

Street Fighter 4!

If you've been coming to ScrewAttack for any more than just a couple days, you know that we're big fans of Street Fighter, in particular myself. I grew up blowing all my money on it at Pantino's Pizza with some great friends. While admittedly I've been fairly underwhelmed with E3 so far, the Capcom booth has reenergized me whenever I'm tired for the simple fact that it's the closest thing to playing in a real arcade as I've gotten in quite a long time. The game is honestly way better than I expected it to be and as of right now based off what I've played I can already put the game up at the top of the list of Street Fighter games... if not the best.

Exclusive Pics of The Who concert

We had the unsuspecting honor of being the witness to a private concert from one of the most influential bands in history on Wednesday night. Pumping the release of Rock Band 2, Harmonix pulled out all the stops by bringing in Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, the remaining members of The Who, to preform a nearly two hour set that was absolutely amazing. If we were there, we want to at least give you a small feeling of what it was like and although no video cameras were allowed we did manage to score some still shots. We wish we could say that the pics don't do the event justice... it was absolutely incredible.
Many thanks to Jessica from AllGames for some of the pics!
