In the game you use the Wiimote as a baton for conducting a marching band. The motion isnt all that hilarious when you actually see what the guys doing on screen.

What was so horrible about it? There was no gameplay footage shown, just a guy making whack-off motions and talking about Jellybeans and a band.
WTF? While I won't go so far as to call it the worst game ever since we've only had this guy making an ass of himself to judge from, I WILL say that it does seem quite a bit lame.
Okay, APPARENTLY the title of the game that was being demo'ed to Destin and not to us (probably for our own good) is Major Minor's Majestic March which is just all kinds of fruity, even by Wii standards.
The problem with third party games for the Wii isn't the games themselves, it's that they either treat the Wiimote like a gimmick or they just can't get the controls right.
Interestingly enough, Majesco was, as of 2006 working on a game based on the Scorsese movie Taxi Driver, but the game got cancelled so I think we gamers dodged a bullet there. I mean if that one was gonna be even half as bad as Reservoir Dogs... *shudder8

what the guy does with the wiimote is the only thing you do in that game, your character walks on himself on a pre determined path and you need to keep moving the wii mote like you're jerking off while sometimes wiggling it to get more band members >.> .

This game is being developed by the creators of Parappa the Rappa, and it's also a rhythm-based game; the only difference is that this game involves a marching band mechanic. Considering how the Parappa the Rappa series is held in such high regard by fans and critics alike, I have no reason to doubt that this game would be just as good, if not, better than Parappa the Rappa.
