What...the hell, im a gamer, im a girl, and i would not TOUCH those games, they're lame! what appeals to us is STORYLINE! i enjoyed Silent Hill, Xenosaga, .hack, WE GIRLS ENJOY RPGS and its true, ask most girl gamers, they play World of Warcraft or other rpg type games, i would not play those!

I concur! As a fellow chick of gaming, I would not be caught dead playing something as fruity as those games targeted towards girls. Not every girl wants to prance around and be a cheerleader. I was at this press conference, and when the VP of Sales and Marketing came out and started throwing statistics at us about "girl gamers," I knew this was going to be bad. He started off by saying something about girls are gamers too and this is what they want, and then unleashed a whole crapfest of games.
It was embarrassingly bad. The entire room was filled snickering, as no one was taking it seriously. Ubisoft more or less said that the only games girls are into involve being domestic and clean and girly. Rainbows and ponies or some shit. Even Destin said their presentation was pretty sexist. Ha ha.
Sweet Jesus, Destin said that their presentation was sexist? There is hope yet. HA! But it's seriously like a slap in the face with an oven mitt. I'm quite surprised they didn't put a new "Wii: Pop out a kid" or "Xtreme Fashion Skank" (the "x" means it's cool! :B) game while they were at it. Ugh, it makes me wonder if there are women even working in that company, and if there are, just how stupid they are?

Yeh End War looks pretty awesome too. I saw a live demo of the game on IGN LiveWire and it totally blew me away. It is probably the RTS that will start a whole new generation of games of that genre for consoles. The controls which can consist of user voice commands and the graphic user interface for controlling units and resources is outstanding.
When I look back on a few months ago I wasn't excited or willing to give either of those two games a chance. Now I must admit Prince of Persia and End War are must buys for me.

I liked how they had the strongest live coverage cuz screwattack had bad quality and g4 had playback problems. Did you laugh when they were demoing EndWar and the audio SHUT DOWN and the girl was like well ur game sux cuz it ruined our system lol that was classic.

End war is solid, I was lucky to be in its beta. It's voice command system works very well, and you never control more than 123 units so it isn't difficult to micro manage. How ever, the beta had serios balance problems with the artillery unit being too OP.

I totally agree about the Rabids. They are just lame. Rayman was a promising, and charming platforming franchise, with a great fairytale-fantasy style. And then rabbids come and made the whole Ray-versum into a retarded, annoying and dumb idiotparade. I so hate these stupid furballs because they ruined everything what was so good about Rayman.

I could see the cheerleader game being a big hit with the right marketing. Aparently its supposed to use the Wii-Fit and remotes for its moves. If a game like DDR can be such a big hit then why not this?
BTW, I know many girls that are into gaming. The Wii brought in many girls, and the music genre is very popular with girls. Also, when I lived in Germany many girls were into all sorts of games. WoW has many girls playing online. The problem is many developers think that since there are few games specifically for girls, then there must not be many girl gamers.

Ubisoft is going to run that Imagine series (the girl games) straight into the ground and back up to the surface on the other side of the world. They already have 5 or 6 versions out now.
This is why I like the way you cover some games, you are honest, right to the point, just no non sense and just say "This Game Sucks" or "This Game Awesome".

Seriously for the longest time I was confussed as hell. When I first saw Prince of Persia, they were only pic's in Game Informer. When I saw them, they looked a lot like "Wind Waker," but now that I've seen the game in action it looks less "cartoony." I'm really glade, because if the game was really gonna be full-on cartoon, I was gonna be pissed. I loved the gritty-ness of the "Sands of Time" trilogy.
Funny that you say the Raving Rabbids game looks lame, since on another Nintendo fanboy site that rhymes with Nintendo (hint hint), they were basically praising the game as proof the "core gamer" is getting things on the Wii.........yeah sure whatever.
