but seemed a little short, but I could watch AVGN all day. Also, I loved it at the end where they had the outtakes, always a good laugh to see people break character.

I had the exact same problems when I played with my brother. Good stuff to see it again after all these years.

He summed it up perfectly. A classic from an era when challenge was desired and Big N wasn't worried about making it accessible to as many people as possible by making it so a toddler could win.

The game was very hard, but full of greatness and win.

I have only one problem with that review; They keep referring to a couch when it's clearly a futon.

I think it's awesome Kyle was actually in the game review. I still remember how games were back then, much more challenging then they are now. Back then, you didn't care that much about the ending, just that you were able to beat the game!

I loved this review, it was short and to the point. Still I wonder how awesome it would have been had a cameo from Corey coming through and destroy the Nerd's copy of the game, and getting his reaction to it.

Lol awesome episode as usual I have wanted to DVD for AGES but I gotta get some more money in my account first.

That's me and three other friends taking turns playing 2-player Battletoads. I'm surprised you guys even made it to level 3!

Short review though. My personal opinion is that the review could've been 4-5 minutes longer at the end, focusing on how shockingly hard single-player Battletoads is.

That just a week or two after that AWESOME "Corey hates Battletoads" vid that the AVGN would do a vid on the very same game?

You should totally make a follow-up vid. That was one of the funniest ones I've ever seen on screwattack.

And the AVGN video was a nice change of pace. We haven't seen Kyle in the vid since.... Spider-Man I think. I always loved his songs. Especially his take on Spider-Man and Nintendo Power - in fact, I have them on my ipod!!

It was a good review. I have a couple of complaints though. Why was it so short? How come he didn't get to the other BattleToads games?

I thought it was too short and really didn't actually get into the game very much. I liked the extra stuff with Kyle but it seems they did that at the expense of actually covering the game. It was still entertaining but I would have like more in-depth about the game.

And I must admit I agree with Corey, I REALLY hate this game. Great graphics, even great gameplay, but they really screwed up with the difficulty. They should have put in an option for difficulty levels, although levels like the speeder one I'm not sure it would have helped since it was sometimes almost just plain luck whether you hit the ramps correctly or not.

In comedy terms, for me this was one of the best AVGN videos that I have seen to date. And the adition of Kyle in a more active and envolved way was just perfect. Notice in the end, he seens even more pissed then James xDD

Now the only little problem: it was kinda short. You could have showed other versions of Battle Toads in other consoles for example.
But aside from that, it was just plain awesomeness :)

Anyways the ep was amazing. I love when James does stuff with Kyle. His Spider-Man review is still one of my absolute favorites because of the hilarious interaction between the two. The best part of this one has to be the flashbacks with Kyle. Gut busting stuff.

I want to see Corey review this game and give it the hatred-filled blast it really deserves! Call it Angry Video Game Corey!

Corey officially became my favorite Screw Attack talent on the day that I discovered that someone else out there hates this game. Why... WHY do people like this game? Challenge is one thing, but this game spanks your ass, even if you have Game Genie.

That's not challenge! That's retarded cheap! This is the game that sparked my hatred for Rare. Still, at least you aren't freakin' collecting bananas!

I personally think that you should include Kyle in more of your reviews, especially if you decide to review games with multiplayer capabilities.

Im not saying the newer episodes have been bad, far from it, but it just seemed like it was getting a bit repetitive albeit still funny. This is the most i have laughed at AVGN in ages and Kyle is brilliant.

Such a great game.

I honestly hope you plan on putting the bloopers at the end of your videos from now on, they're pretty damn funny.
