It truly was epic, I saw that video before where it was going to be our script and didn't think there was going to be another nerd for a couple weeks. Truly a great day.

I have to agree.
It was still great video though, the anger level was extremely high too when he was playing Batman Forever so I enjoyed that. I remember renting that game. I couldn't get really far into it because I didn't even know how to do grappling hook. Who would press the freaking select button thinking it would do something like that?

Were you somehow involved with making Batman Forever for the SNES? If so... keep it to yourself cause I think James may hunt you down for a special episode involving shit torture!
No... I wasn't... but did you see the rage in his eyes as he looked in to the camera? It was madness...! It was Batmaaaan! (Ok, that was a really lame 300 joke ;P)

James, if you think using Mortal Kombat gameplay in a sidescroller sucks balls, then you should review the abysmal Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. As a hardcore MK fan, I cannot express the pain I felt when playing this. It was a big slap across my face.

I really like return of the joker. Sure it doesn't feel like a batman game at all with you getting big laser cannons and fighting large robots and all, but it is fun. I'm looking forward to him reviewing it, but I hope he doesn't rip it apart too much.

You're comment reminds me of one of my favorite Game Boy games: Batman. It's the portable version of the great NES game James was talking about. It's nothing like the 1989 Burton film, but it sure is fun to play. The whole time Batman is carrying a pistol that can be upgraded and you fight this weird bomb/mech in the Batwing.

This was so awesome! I loved the intro( Coleco Telstar haha) and Mike was great as Joker. To tell you the truth, when I was a kid I liked Batman Forever on SNES. My cousins were always angered over it,but I played it and liked it.
Since Joker captured BatNerd, this means only one thing... My god... Joker is going to make him play that one Batman game that has him spinning around while on the grappling gun. As each AVGN episode comes and goes, I feel old for a 20-year old man which is ironic considering I got a NES when I was 8 that worked until I was either 11 or 13. Slowly I also wish someone started working on AVGN models for various PC games (UT3 and Garry's Mod ((Yes, I said GARRY'S MOD, oh god forgive me PHW) I'm looking at you.) Also as a joke have a return of Old AVGN seen in part two of the christmas special in a separated mini-series where he plays shitty current-gen (You know what I mean) games like (IN B4 shitstorm) Turok, Bullet Witch (That game is ASKING for a Nerd asswhooping), Monster Madness, some PS3 games I don't know the titles to because I became a X-box acheivement whore (At least I'm not playing shitty games... wait... OH GOD I OWN TWO OF THE LISTED SHITTY GAMES; Okay, at least I'm not playing the ones that give you EXTREMELY EASY acheivements ((Simpsons Game does not count despite irony))).
TL;DR version: Great episode and thank god there were no batnipples jokes. Also established that this user is a rambler.

Also liked the new place! Reminded me of when I was little and my parents had the basement set up to be the kids tv/video game area. And the wood paneling reminded me of my apartment in Texas when I was in the AF!
Im wondering what other Batman games he will do? I think all thats left are:
Batman (sega gen 1991)
Batman (arcade 1990)
Batman: The Animated Series (Gameboy 1993)
The Adventures of Batman & Robin (sega gen and cd 1994)
Batman and Robin (PSX and Sega Saturn 1997)
Batman: Chaos in Gotham (Gameboy Color 2001)
Batman: Gotham City Racer (PSX 2001)
Batman Vengeance (PS2 Xbox Gamecube 2001)
Batman: Dark Tomorrow (Gamecube Xbox 2003)
Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu (PS2 Gamecube Xbox 2004)
Batman Begins (PS2 Xbox Gamecube 2005)

Do you really think he would review anything past the era of PSX and N64? However, I would like to see him review Batman and Robin for the PSX. That game was frusterating as fuck.

What do you mean! His videos only get better and better! I mean look at the first AVGN it was just him sitting down in a chair telling you how much a game sucks. But now he does all kinds of things. Its hilarious, this is my favorite video game reviewer, Keep up the good work AVGN!
man,i hate games when using up as jump,it sucks
just like the super smash bros. games.
its damn horrible.
im glad i can switch to no-tilt-jump mode on ssbb.

Seriously I remember the horror of that game as well. Sucked duck balls. I got INCREDIBLY frustrated with the saaaame spot the nerd, and from what I read, others did as well. I had the small blessing of having the instruction booklet when I rented the game, but it should never be that assanine!
Worse yet you can use tools in fact, but you need either the instruction booklet or a freaking game-faq to use the tool or tools you brought with you! It's done as a god-dam special move type movement! Completely bone-headed work, a truly tragic piece of beetle diarrhea .

You're the best.. I'm a huge fan of batman and i like how you make me see the ugly side of him lol! Anyways, check this out..... I realized you haven't reviewed one of the worse games in history.... It's called Shaq-Fu if anyone can recall, and it was completely terrible.. I would love to see you review that peice of crap! LMAO, hope to see a future review of it :)

I seen it on and on and on... Really a good performance !
I don't know if anyone else
I don't know if anyone else felt it, but to me this episode felt really forced, and not as funny as the others. The sequel's looking good though.

Batman Forever
I actually got that game for Christmas when I was 8. Such a frustrating pile of crap.
Is it a nerd batcave ? O_o
Where is he ? He's not in the same room as usual.
Or maybe he changed something...
He had to move to another room
His other room for his games wasn't that big to hold all of his games. So,he moved to the basement(I think)to use it for his game reviews.
Nice
Great Review as always. Very Angry this time around too. Can't wait for part 2! ;)
